Serious Q: Do you really think the Buckeye defense is better this year?
It sure doesn't look like that on TV or on the scoreboard/stat sheets so far.
I think its about the same.
Last year Ohio State gave up an average of 21 pts per game. Very similar to what they're giving up this year so far.
I think overall though the team is much better.
So, similar to last year (and almost every stats says comparatively worse, even if only small so far in the one area you cited).
And, Denard and co. aren't going to tear it up on land and by air THIS year because......?
IMO Bama's just on another level right now. It won't last forever (it never does), but I don't see how anyone beats them this year. Look what they did to LSU last year in the BCSCG and that was clearly the next best team in the country. It reminds me of the Nebraska and Miami teams in the 90s. Or the Pete Carroll teams at USC, except USC tended to drop a dumb game here or there (but never bowl games). Give Bama the crystal football right now. Unless they beat themselves by laying an egg somewhere along the line, they are going to roll over everyone.

OSU is averaging 14 more points a game on offense than they did last year and the special teams is markedly improved.
Most importantly though, I don't see any way possible that Hoke outcoaches Meyer.
Your offense is clearly better. But your D is shockingly average. UNL turned the ball over like four times and still put up 38 in the Shoe. And it's not for lack of talent. Maybe it's scheme or maybe it's poor fundamentals, but if your D does not improve by the time we play you we will win easily. Our D is almost as good as Sparty's but our offense is much more explosive.

When did Michigan fan turn into Penn State fan?
You will see in two weeks when Sparty visits us in AA.
Because beating Sparty is a huge accomplishment.
Oh, wait. It would be for Michigan if they could actually accomplish it.
You struggled to beat them 17-16.
You lost to them 4 years in a row.
I'm sure that's relevant somehow. But I'll just stick with my previous comments. You better find some semblance of a D between now and November 30 or it's going to be a sad day in Buckeyeland.
Michigan's defense isn't any better than Ohio State's.
OSU has the better coach, better talent and will be playing at home.
Oh, sorry. That was supposed to be a joke, right?
Has the Game been changed to an eating contest?
I have no doubt your fanbase can out eat ours. I've seen them in person.
probably right next to Michigan
Don't worry, we will beat Meeechigan.
Who has Meyer out-coached at OSU?
This ends the discussion for me.

He totally forgot how to coach now that he is at Ohio State.
Because that's how these things work.
Michigan's defense is giving up as many points a game as Ohio State's defense.
