We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.

Except I'm almost certain they are serious...
Why So Serious?
i havent read past page 1, having said that:
i do think its cheap...its completely within the rules, so its compmletely fair...however, its going to change what we know as college football.. i know people dont like watching 9-6 type games, but do you really want to see a touchdown scored every damn drive?
I guess we shouldn't corner blitz or blitz from the backside... It puts players in more harms way than any other play in college sports.
Why not just play the game the way it was intended to be played? The game has done fine for many years the way it is. We don't need to start trying to accommodate teams unable to acquire the same amount of wealth as others. THAT, my friend,. is what's close to Communism.
That's why I called them loopholes. Lol. There was a rule created because of the cam situation. There has already been one rule added in response to the HUNH, and I think more will eventually be added. That is what is defined as a loophole.
You have no rebuttal. I bet you won't argue football with me again. You have learned your lesson IMO. Some of you have to learn the hard way.
+1... Pretty much sums it up.
"So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."... Rev. 3:16
I think it has changed football about as much as it is going too. Some teams with accept it and some won't. There will always be teams that do extremely well without running the hurry up
. Now with the ways the rules are changing on how you can't hit any more, that will change what we know as college football.
"Hey! No fair! They are suppose to be lined up in straight lines so we can shoot them. Not hiding behind trees and raping us while we stand in our perfect rank"!!!!
- some British dude around 1780.
it wont...timeouts increase the number of plays by stopping the clock
What does that have to do with anything? Can you show me stats that says the QB gets injured more when a team does a corner blitz than when they don't? Because I can show you stats that the more plays a guy plays the more susceptible he is to injury.
You Bama fans need to actually watch your team play, y'all used it last year at times.
yeah i mean its already way different than it was 10 years ago...and i still love the game...im just saying if it keeps going we are looking at arena league shit
I tried to take this thread seriously, but it's just Bama fans for the most part and honestly it sounds like anxiety. Not fear, but a little bit worrisome.
Auburn honestly played their hand perfectly. We can't play smashmouth football with you guys anymore... so we completely put the defensive side of the ball in a "check" position. You guys told us to hire Gus in 2010, no you guys want nothing to do with him or his style... hence why Saban and Beliema are trying to get it banned.
Still don't understand how it is cheap... Get your players in shape for the team you are going to play... is it that hard ... Also how do chop blocks or crackbacks not put players in harms way... how do passes over the middle not put players in harms way... how does blitzing not put players in harms way... hell how does stepping onto the football field not put you in harms way...
Don't be a Va-jay-jay
Dive for the thrill, shoot for the kill.
i never said you can't win doing something else. i said proset PA passing with elite OL play is the most consistent way to win. it is the one type of offense that has won through every decade of football since the 40's. see any option teams today that win consistently? Nope.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
I never said it wasn't fair. I said it was a way to nullify the advantage of a more talented team. Big difference.
Well, the British were the more talented team too. I am now convinced you hate America.
This. You play to win the game. What does it matter how you (legally) get there?
You just can't make this stuff up...
Ahh the old FIFY comment. Great contribution.
I guess this is what the British sounded like when we started shooting at them from cover. They wanted us to stand in the open and fight fair. If we were to take ingenuity from the game we may as well have everyone run the same offense, same defense, and see who can recruit the best players. That's what Bama is angling for because they have an advantage in recruiting right now. Gus will nullify that by being a better coach than Saban. Cry about it if you want to.
I like the FIFY stuff. It saves a lot of typing.
