Anyone played it?
I understand making this its own thread. I don't consider EA NCAA games video games either.
Just played with Alabama and I must say that playing with Yeldon is awesome.
Run blocking is head and shoulders better than last year. I did think RBs broke a few too many tackles, even the smaller scatback guys. That's both from me running the ball and defending the run. Guys are greased up.
Yea hopefully that is fixed. Did you play with Bama?
Yeah. You can basically run at will in that game with Yeldon. It's disgusting.
Indeed. Love running the rock with him. They will be hard to beat online.
The passing game does feel a little more "on-a-rope" than it did last year, but I also didn't feel like the defense was playing above their pay grade. Whenever I threw a pick, I wasn't all that mad; I felt it was my fault more than when we had The Avengers in the linebacking corps.
Georgia Dome looks better...especially the turf
Oh, and running the shuttle pass option is going to be nasty. That thing is way better than any Triple O from past games.
I agree. Seems like you can thread it into tighter spaces this year.
Just toasted that VT secondary with Amari Cooper
Refuse to waste my money.
Next NCAA I play will be for the PS4.
Good for you. You will be waiting another full year then
Still the same issues. I threw 1 TD and 4INT's. Not sure if its just the game as usual or Nick Marshall.
LB's picking you off or what?
Actually I won't. I'll just keep playing 13'. It's the same game.
Actually I could put in 10' and see zero difference.
Nevermind. I just played with Alabama. It was Nick Marshall.
Okay...you do that buddy
Lol. Yea, the passing is much better. I can actually sling it across the middle in tight spaces
I will, and you go ahead and blow $60.
I found it played a lot more smoothly. Oline and Dline interactions could be better but they are miles ahead of what they used to be. I find run blocking for the CPU a little too good whereas pass blocking is a little lacking but that can be tweaked with sliders. I didn't encounter any super jumping LBs. Running the ball it is great to let your Oline create space and then you hit the acceleration boost and hit through the hole.
Oregon's offense, though not one I will run is crazy crazy fun to play as.
I am going to have fun with Michigan's offense. Gardner/Green/Funchess/Gallon fit perfectly for what I do and I am able to carve up OSU pretty easily with them. Miller on the other hand is a pain if he gets away from my Dline and creates problems himself.
I hated the demo last year and it reflected in me playing the real game for 1 week. This year I am loving the demo so I am hoping for better from the full game.

Are you really butt hurt over what people buy? Lol
Is it me, or does it seem like once the QB breaks the pocket that it takes forever to get him?
Of course not.
I don't think its you. Anytime I play and the QB takes off they at least get 10-15 yards. Part of the problem is I have LBs that seem to backpedal because they are afraid of the pass even though the QB is beyond the LOS. I have to manually swap to them to run at the QB.
