I like waiting about a week or 2 after the game is released to start a dynasty. I wait bc other ppl will fill in the names , make a few equipment changes, and so on.

Just a hint.If your playing on 360 take one of your lbers and put a spy on the qb.Its holding A button while flicking the right joystick left.That's how I kept Gardner and manziel from scrambling for big gains.I like the demo and can tell a lot of changes in it from last year.

Looking like the best NCAA game I've ever played. Very functionally sound. Run game can be overpowering at times, but sliders can fix that. Important part is that the blocking schemes, coverages, and mechanics all work.
I wait for the rosters as well.
Probably gonna mess around with Ultimate Team this year and see how that is while I wait for named rosters. Was hoping for some sort of chemistry bonus like in FIFA if you did proper position/formation or same team/conference but sadly nothing of the sort.

Last year I had an issue with running QBs crossing the LoS and LBs who were in position just letting them run by. Anyone seen how that issue's working?
Sadly basically the same...
It is nice they have so many running QBs to show off the different option runs and such but it exposes that problem. Add to the fact that it seems only Dline can defeat blocks and you will give up lots of yards rushing.
Funny people talk trash without having played the game. I'm in the camp of not being a big fan of ncaa (or madden for that matter) but this game plays much better than last year.
Much more realistic feel going in and out of cuts. The button to abort play action is nice as too often the qb would get lit up before finishing the play fake in prior versions.
As an Oregon fan I had to try the read-option. A play that didn't work in previous years I think may be too powerful now. It was an automatic 10 every time I ran it against my friend or he ran it against me, always keepers with the qb.
Game seems much improved imo.
Anybody have word on whether the read option, four verts, and simple blitzes are too easy? I traded in 13 because you could win a national championship running just read option and Over storm brave every play.
Because we hear the same stuff every year and nothing ever changes. This whole generation has been awful. They ruined a good game.

I've been playing the game religiously since like 04 I've heard of rosters but have ne'er uploaded one. My question is how do you uploaded the rosters?
Four verts is defended pretty well especially if the CPU plays cover 4 in which case you are basically done.
Get them in cover 2 and it's an easy completion but it should be.
Generally there is an option under all the option menus to upload and download rosters. I don't have 13 anymore so I can't give you the specific path but I can when 14 comes out and they upload named rosters.
You can beat that blitz. Just gotta know what to do.

Can anybody comment on if it's possible to actually play a 3-4 this year? In previous years the 3 lineman never attract double teams and pass rush 1 on 1, leaving OLman stampeding through your second level.
I really can't answer that. I hate running a 3-4.
I would love to, it's just been impossible for previous games to make realistic.
Finally got to play the PS3 version after vacation just now and it's good. I have two major complaints tho.
I won 21-11 over OSU, racked up 220 total yards with 92 on the ground.
1st. It is not as smooth from transition to transition as the 360 version.
2nd. Might just be the demo, but when opponent runs hurry up, it takes so long to bring up the play calling for defense.
All else was fantastic. Can not wait to get my hands on it.
The hurry up offense causing the defensive playcalling to be broken is being reported by everyone so I hope ea knows about it. Most games nowadays have a patch the day of release so hopefully this is addressed.
As for the transitions it's probably bc it's a demo. I can't imagine the ps3 being worse than the 360 for this game.

they have a 13 play 86 yard TD drive ... all from QB runs once the pocket breaks down. Very frustrating.
