This is coming from a South Carolina fan? What advantages does your school have over Clemson or Auburn? The only one I could think of is being located in a bigger city, but if I wanted to attend college in a big city or even midsized city, there are dozens or hundreds of places I would choose over Columbia, South Carolina

This. I know they have good recruiters but they're joining a sinking ship as long as Dooley is there. He's in over his head. I hope they can come back to relevence but I don't see it happening until a better coach is in place.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
I'll cite specific examples. About 10+ years ago UM was pursuing a RB Lynell Hamilton that chose SDSU over Michigan among other offers. Total head scratcher. Two years ago (the Hoke/RR class) UM was after a LB from Colorado who in the end chose UCF over us. There was also a WR a few years back who chose Cinncinatti over UM. Alot of guys pick certain schools because they don't have any better offers but it just doesn't make sense to me to turn down great offers for some of these schools. That QB last year who originally picked Indiana, same thing, though he eventually came to his senses.
I wonder why more kids don't go to Wisconsin. Its a very good school, nice campus, fun school, great football atmosphere and they win.
Vanderbilt and Running Backs that chose Alabama.

Whats wrong with Wisconsin?
Yea, their lack of recruiting success has been pretty puzzling. Currently, however, they can only take very small classes; I think they're only going to be able to sign 12 guys this year or something ridiculous like that.
primarily because I dont enjoy cow pastures as a fixture of my community.
It's a great school in a fun town with good recent success. Wisky is a really good option.
Success in what? Losing every bowl game in the past 5 years? They're probably a good school, but I just don't think there football program is very good.
Well if Wisky's program isn't very good, then what does that make the rest of the B1G then? lol
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
rutgers jersey sucks ass
They've been the best team in the Big Ten the past two years, but ok and winning isn't the only things kids consider, Wisconsin isn't going to win a national championship most likely, but they are always competitive and the college experience at Wisconsin is awesome. I just don't see how someone would be shocked that a kid would choose a school like that.
B1G champion the last two years and both them and Michigan are one game under .500 in bowl victories.
I'm surprised at how many Florida kids Rutgers draws in. And ususally, their Florida kids are rated higher than the kids they get from up north. I guess it's just one of those things where certain kids just want something different...
Only thing I can think of is that it's fucking cold.
Shawn Alexander, Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson would have something to say about that..
yeah its not like Bama develops good RBs or anything
Its kewl, he likes losing.
Well clearly they don't go there to learn how to spell.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
That's it? Sheesh, catch up newbs
