We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.

But apparently new owner Jimmy Haslam wants him.
Name one person that doesn't?
Jed York and Bob Kraft.
Oh sorry, that was two.
Coaches like Saban rarely succeed in the NFL. Jimmy Johnson is one big exception. He would be best staying where he is but you never know, some always want that next challenge.
In the NFL the playing field is equal across all teams ie salary cap, a draft, etc. Right now he is in a place that has distinct advantages over the vast majority of the teams they play.
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
Say it ain't so Nick!
would love to see the bama fan base meltdown if he left
3 time POTW, member since 2006, MLWTI: 4-3
Give him 8 mill a year and GM power. He'd take it.
This is part of Tenn's plan to return to relevance in the SEC?
Phil Savage makes a return as his GM?
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him

Odds are we can hire someone as competent as Les Miles and continue domination.
Well, hell. It was a good run. Thanks for the memories coach.
Gruden to Bama.
Saban isn't going to Cleveland or anywhere. He's a college coach. He's known that since his first day at Miami.
Yup. Throw him more money than Bama is paying him & he'll bolt. If he were to turn things around in Cleveland, he would be the greatest coach that ever lived imo.
I'll agree with that.
"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
While I agree with you...
Saban knows he got a raw deal in Miami and left that sinking ship, he would at least entertain the idea of coming into a better situation, IMO..
That said, if Saban had gotten' Drew Brees instead of Culpepper, like he wanted.. (Culpepper was considered 'less of a risk' at the time by most, with he and Brees coming off of injuries, Saban however, still wanted Drew Brees) I believe Nick Saban would still be the coach in Miami...
Butch Jones. Who???
Sorry he already bought land in knoxville last weekend. #Gruden4life
Damnit. Always the bridesmaid. Never the bride.
Doesn't have the guts.
Signed, Dolphins fan.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Jerry Jones would throw him a few bucks to get the Blue Stars back on track.
If this was all true, then the land would be back on the market today. Bama would get any coach they wanted after Saban.
I dont think so. Certainly not for more money. I mean, how much more do you think he needs? He's well paid. I do think that Alabama will slip up along the way. They just dont have what they had last year. It'll be a big effort, but I do see them falling.
But Saban will be back next year in Tuscaloosa... and the following and the following
Looks like another perfect day.
Saban >>>>>> Carroll
Carroll left to get away from sanctions at USC. He knew the hammer was coming from the NCAA. He left out of necessity.
The only way I could see it is if he really wanted to take another shot at grown man football. At 61 that window of opportunity is quickly closing.
I'd say there's a 5% chance.
