Maybe, his family wants him to go far away so they can't watch him play, UF might be to close.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
I don't. But anyone who thinks Miami doesn't have a chance with all 3 is
Well, to avoid a potential bump later in the process, I'll say it's recruiting and anything is possible, especially with a south Florida kid. But I guess I'm crazy...
Maybe because you have Yearby and have a shot at Michael and Cook, you can say that now. However, I'd be shocked if landing Michel as the 2nd back in the class doesn't effectively knock Miami out of the running for Cook.
How do you possibly sell a kid on being the 3rd back in the class when other big-time programs don't even have a RB yet, and could possibly sell him on being the only back in the class? Gators tried that last year on Ryan Green and Alex Collins with Lane and Taylor in the fold. It's tough to swing to say the least.
Nope Yearby and Michel will do.

I should have made that more clear. I don't think we get all 3 at all, I was saying we have a shot with all 3 though. Maybe I'm just being a homer but I think we get 2. Cook is versatile though so teams can sell him as an all purpose player more than a full time RB.
Bammer got like 5 this year didn't they?? Our depth is pretty thin as well
Lane isn't on that level. (no flame) I don't think we get all by any means but it'd be easy to sell Cook playing multiple positions & Michel has already said he loved when Miami was deep at RB with Portis, McGahee & Gore. If we landed two I'd be ecstatic.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
Two is absolutely possible. No qualms about that...
I'm definitely rooting for you guys with Michel at this point. Effectively makes an OOS school our main competition for Cook.
That would prove my point then, Master Chief.
And there's nothing easy about landing the top 3 backs in Florida, especially when they're all from the same area. Spare me the multiple positions argument.
2 of the 3 to go with the o-lineman and QB we have commited could lead to a redic offense for many years. Those guys will be freshman with Olsen too.
Umm.. You asked, I answered. Most scouts think he will line up all over the field.
Tell me about the QB's UF has after Driskel, Jacoby was the only one I knew about. Anyone good or starter quality?
It was a rhetorical question. Lol, scouts?
The kid's a versatile running back, but still a running back. It might sound reasonable in your head as a Canes fan, but it takes two to tango. The kid's going to get other programs offering him the only RB spot in their class and 20+ touches as a RB. Again, how is splitting touches three ways with Yearby and Michel more appealing?
That's another rhetorical question. It's not.
Garbage. If he gets hurts, we'll have to Wildcat teams to death and hope to win 14-10.
Luckily we landed Will Grier, possibly the top QB for the 2014 cycle.
I am gonna watch your spring game on April 6th to see how if Driskell improved from last yr.
You and me both.
That sucks. We are in the same boat IMO. Some of our fans think Williams is good but I think he meh and we would be in a lot of trouble.
IDK you're situation, but our current backup was that 2-star kid from Connecticut we took late in the process in 2010(?). The other kid is Marty Mornhinweg's son and he throws like Uncle Rico. It's REALLY bad.
You are arguing with yourself here. None of us expect to land all three. I could see him excelling in a spread O lining up all over the field. (See: De'Anthony Thomas)
I think he's good enough to "not lose" a game.. but not good enough to "win" a game.. (if that makes any sense)
2nd string is a transfer from Memphis, 3rd is 3* that knew he's never start and 4th is a 4* ESPN 150 guy who is a reality freshman and not looking like he'll work out. Would not surprise me if he transfers. IMO when Olsen comes in he should be 2nd but the plan is to redshirt him. Hoping Morris doesnt get hurt
I was asking and I got responses telling me it was possible because of this and that. If none of you expect to land all three, then case closed.
The kid from Miramar? I watched him in that state title game...thought he had some talent.
He's a pocket statue that needs to learn to make better decisions. Has a decent arm but nothing like the arm Morris has.
