We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.

Yet, you're making other decisions mandatory.
Funny you can't see that...

That is the way our business and company is run.
Some decisions are made by 247Sports and some are at the publisher level.
All Access VIP will not require and extraordinarily amount of extra moderation -- or at least is shouldn't. Opening up the Auburn, Alabama, Ohio State, etc sites to all can post would require an excessive amount of extra moderation from our staff which is already stretched thin.
Opening those boards up to "all can posts" is not in consideration and likely will not be. What the reporters/mods do with the newer sites is largely up to them. I will give them guidance so they understand the ramifications, but that's it.
Let's take this step, measure it and tweak it if it needs to be tweaked.

I wanted to restate this question psubills asked earlier since it didn't seem to be answered:
Question: on boards where anyone can post (like Lions247), will VIP members from other teams now be able to post VIP as well, or just read VIP?
The posting privs will go unchanged with this rollout. It is up to the Lions247 staff as to how they plan to manage that process. I wouldn't expect them to change it.
I prefer the open board like the Checkerboard. The posters have for the most part policed themselves from day 1.
I'm posted on your board, entered respectfully, and treated in kind.
Didn't seem to matter that I was a Trojan....lol.
Do you understand how hard some of the SEC boards would be to moderate if they were open to anyone? The Bama and auburn boards would be a nightmare to moderate.
LOL!! Puhleeese...how hard is it to ban someone who is acting the fool on a home board?
Clearly, his message is...they have more fools than any other program or conference.
The point I'm making is the SEC cares much more about football and the Iron Bowl is the top rivalry in college football. Our fans and theirs would continuously troll the shit out each other.
exactly, just ban the people who deserve a ban..
Um... Not that hard if the posters police themselves as well. The Checkerboard does it pretty darn well considering its in the SEC and with Govols being the 4th largest site on 247.

Sometimes the jokes just write themselves.
Please...even the biggest homer with minimal knowledge of the history of CFB, knows that THE biggest rivalry is tOSU vs Michigan - two great and storied programs with large alumn/fan bases. The Alabama vs Auburn rivalry is so lopsided, it means nothing save for you two.
Does everyone in the country even know what the Iron Bowl is??? Seriously, I grew up knowing about the Ohio State/Michigan rivalry, Iron Bowl..not so much. Volumes and volumes of books written about the rivalry, HBO specials, the coaching tree out of Ohio that every program in the country has drawn from. Those two invented CFB..
My God, the unwarranted arrogance is astounding.
