You have until mid May to plan the "Welcome to NC" party for me. Thanks in advance.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
ain't nobody in here livin in there
Maybe not now.
I have lived in five different states in my lifetime and North Carolina was by FAR my favorite. I lived in Cary when I was there. Where you going to be laying your head?
Haaaa very close to Cary..hell maybe even Cary. Cary is to uppity to me though. Prolly holly hills or apex maybe.
I know that Cary was thought of as uppity but the people didn't seem like rich assholes or anything. Apex isn't going to be much better if you feel that way about Cary. If you live around Research Triangle, you are going to deal with people with money. That is where I met my current fiancee and she is LOOOAAAADDDDEEEEDDD.
I'd like to be in a area that's a little more laid back. I want to live on a lake
I have about 3 acres of land off a lake in Hyde County, NC. I have a feeling that is a bit too laid back though. I just use the land to go hunting for about two weeks a year. I do have a buddy that has a lakehouse not far from Cary though. I want to say Franklin? but I'm not real sure about that. It's about 45 minutes out.
You moving for work?
Ya, I interviewed today and got offered when I got off the plane.
You will love it there. Alabama is where I grew up and all but I still would love to go back to North Carolina. When our company started this new office in Alabama a few years back, I thought it would be great to get back here. I love being able to see Bama play in person as often as I do, but that is the only thing I prefer being here to NC.
I mean the fishing is even better up there.
Get out of my state! We don't like yer kind 'round here!

ECU grad, tOSU fan for life. Father since 1/12/13.
Your state is getting a facelift. Be proud!
Btw thanks for the info Ratt
How is that kid of your's doing?
My fiancee is due in less then three weeks. Here is to hoping for a girl this time.
Great man, thanks for asking!
Congrats on your upcoming little one. I honestly didn't care if it was boy or girl, just healthy. But since I already have a son, I would want a daughter as my 2nd too. Do you not already know? I couldn't be as patient as you are. I had to know boy or girl ASAP.
btw Willie, just remember to go to Bojangles as soon as you get here. I grew up in Ohio, so I didn't really know about the southern fried chicken and sweet tea until I ate Bojangles. It is truly glorious.
Nope don't know. My fiancee wanted it to be a surprise so I just rolled with it. I really only want two children and already have a son so I'm kind of hoping that I get the girl and can get a vasectomy. Hell I still might even if it's a boy but I really do want one of each.
I really wanted to find out what it was, and really pushed my girl to let the doctors tell us, but she wouldn't budge. I'll know soon enough.
Yeah Bojangles is the truth. They actually have a couple of them in Alabama now. Bojangles breakfast was a must after a night of drinking though. Their tea still isn't as good as Milo's tea.

I hear ya. I'm thinking the same thing as you (2 kids--1 boy, 1 girl), so i'll be hoping for a girl next time.
I've never heard of that Milo's place you talked about, but if their tea is better than Bojangles, I gotta try it.
It's a staple in Alabama. I'm not sure if they have Milo's in states outside of Alabama.
I can tell you that it is so well known here though, that gas stations fvcking sell the stuff by the gallon. That place makes a fortune on tea alone.
I'm only going to have two period. I'm not going to end up like my best friend. Boy has six children from four different women and he is fvcking miserable 80% of the time.
Damn...yea eff that. Although, I'm sure having to deal with 4 different women has more to do with him being miserable....Still, i agree with the 2 kids only idea.
Yeah I still don't know how the hell he accomplished it. He has three children now that are the ripe ages of 19 months, 19 months and 17 months from three different women. Oh well, he did it to himself.
Edit: I also shouldn't forget to mention that all three of them grew up together and are friends.
Murr what part you live in?
