I moved to High Point ( about 80 miles from Cary) two years ago and loved it. I've lived in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi and I agree with RATT, it's the best. I lived in Gainesville for a while so I think you'll enjoy having 4 seasons. Cookout restaurants are good too. Corn dogs and chicken tenders are considered side items.
See! I'm not the only person who like Bojangles! I tried it for the first time down around Starkville back during football season. It was glorious. Love me some of those fried sweet potato pies. yum
BornToBeRed said: WPS, just a head's up. We might be the most family-friendly board on the network, so take it easy on your normal wps-ness.
Bojangles and Cookout might be the only two fast food places I'll go to. Cookout has been expanding like crazy in recent years.
Pat yourself on the back gay soouie
Never heard of cookout, I will try. But anyone who doesn't eat chick-fil-a is = IMO
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
Chik fil a is alright, but I only go when I have free coupons. I personally hate waffle fries and I'm not spending however much their sandwiches cost (too much), when I can find or make better options for that price.
I live in Greenville, which is where East Carolina is. Me and the wife graduated and haven't moved out of town yet.
My parents live in Knightdale, and my sister lives in Cary. My sister loves Cary, and Knightdale is a great place to raise a family (too small of a town for me though--everybody knows everybody).
ECU grad, tOSU fan for life. Father since 1/12/13.
Oh Cool, just give me your sisters number so she can show me around the area.
Let's hope shes not a Buckeye fan...
Muffy hates needles
No joke, but I love me some sweater holders.
I love in morrisville which is literally right next to Cary. Before living here I lived in durham for a year. There are places you wouldn't want to go but there is a ton of places in durham that are great to live (durham is a county first. Durham city is the only "town" in the county). I would stick to the Cary/apex/holly springs areas.
I was thinking Holly Springs. I'll be working in New Hill. What's the cheapest of them to live? I believe Cary is pricey right?
This is going to be a huge loss for Florida. It'll take a while to recover.
The weather has already made a turn for the worst.
I would go with morrisville or holly springs. Apex, like said above, is still a little pricey. You could try fuquay varina as well
I'll look up morrisville while I'm at work tomorrow. Haven't heard that name yet
Place is going to shit. I hear next they are going to elect Charlie Christ Governor
Libs gonna be Libbing in fla now. Prepare for a bad hurricane season as well.
Next thing you're going to tell me is I need to learn Spanish
If you haven't learned Spanish already you're already
Yeah, I'm just fighting it by moving to the suburbs....not sure how long that will last though
