North Korea just shut down the shared industrial complex the countries shared. Don't believe me if you want but this signals serious shit.
Never has the industrial complex been shut down with communication lines cut at the same time.
This hurts North Korea by making them lose hundreds of millions of dollars, not something they would do normally.
The combination of shutting down communication, shutting down the industrial complex, restarting the nuclear reactor, china massing its troops near the border, and all of these threats is unprecedented. Either it is total brinksmanship or war is extremely close. All it could take is a single border guard to accidentally shoot a single bullet and shit will get real.
North Korea is blocking hundreds of South Korean workers from entering a joint industrial complex.

Evidently we said we wouldn't tolerate a Nuclear armed NK (they already have Nukes though?)
The U.S. will not accept North Korea as a Secretary of State John Kerry told reporters Tuesday.
China isn't going to back North Korea. There is no good reason for them to do that. Economic suicide.
I doubt they want America, Russia, and the UK in armed conflict in Asia, so I would guess that China will just take care of the NK issue before we have to.
I think they might with the future looking bleak on the economy side. The construction bubble is close to bursting. China is only 10 years away from reaching our level of military expenditure.
But then again they must know it would be a massacre to try facing us now.
They have been massing troops and jets near the NK border .
China has placed military forces on heightened alert in the northeastern part of the country as tensions mount on the Korean peninsula following recent threats by Pyongyang to attack, U.S. officials said.
Hoover High School Army > North Korean Army
The future not at all bleak for them economically. There's always a bubble that's about tho burst. It's the business cycle. They own so much of our debt that it would be stupid for them to go to war with us. That's not even factoring in how stupid a war between China and the US would be just from a loss of life perspective.
(Side note: If China were to express that an act of war against NK would result in war with China, we should NOT call their bluff. WWIII would be something akin to mutually assured destruction)
Back to the point, It's not surprising that they're massing troops there. They would be irresponsible not to. They have to be ready in case something happens.
This would only take a long weekend to finish.
The best thing to do is ignore them.
IF they were to attack the South we could easily retaliate using drones.
They are nothing more than a little tiny yapping dog.....all bark and no bite.
The ability to nuke 50k+ American troops in South Korea is a bark? Also crippling the entire worlds economy? If we never deal with them because they don't have the ability to hit the west coast now I feel like eventually it will come back to haunt us.
Go home North Korea you're drunk
How isn't this China's problem? Really sick of everything around the globe being our problem as we bleed out our financial resources to "save" the world.
We gotta start worrying about home base.
can someone give me the cliff notes version of this thread?
That's exactly what this country needs. Another war to compound the deficit.
They aren't going to drop a nuke just south of their own border, lol.
Deficit, schmeficit. I hope we go to war. I love seeing the U.S. war machine in high gear. It's a damn beautiful site to behold. Hope this happens.
Actually a good ole World War with the Chinese as enemy number 1, could be the best thing to happen to our economy ...assuming we won of course.
I don't disagree that our military is the most dominant thing this world had ever seen, but you're pretty sick bud.
Think about what you just said.
Well, it's been what? 70 years since we won one?
Yep. Therein lies the problem, I wouldn't put it past us to apologize to North Korea before all of this is over.
