China isn't crazy though, lol.
Say somehow someway NK actually gets a nuke on US soil somewhere.
You think China, Russia, or even our allies Japan and South Korea (and any other sovereign nation in the region) is going to be in favor of us nuking them back?
We aren't exactly talking about countries the size of the US here (minus China), the radiation will spread throughout the area.
The other option? Ground warfare......exactly what we need right now, another war on foreign soil costing thousands of lives and trillions of dollars.
Our best bet is to hope China sees the need to handle this before it escalates into a global taking of sides.
Yes, they are. I realize it is a remote possibility, but it's still a possibility
You do realize we have bombs that pack as much punch as a small nuke without the nuke/radiation?
No. It isn't.
So then we solve their overpopulation problem.
This made me laugh
Yeh, god knows you can't be filled in and make decisions from the road.
Sometimes man... Sometimes.
It is called priorities.
It's called multi tasking.
Why does he need to be at the White House to deal with this issue? Technology is pretty cool dude, you can have meetings that aren't even in person.
Crazy, I know.
No, it is sending the message to the US people that you are in-charge of this country. He is in S.F. all day today raising funds for the House Democrats and tomorrow doing the same. That sends a great message.
Just can't help but laugh at this type of foolishness.
He has to sit around at the White House every time North Korea makes another empty threat? Send a message to the US people? What % of Americans do you think are even aware of the NK situation? A very low percentage I'd imagine.
And the ones who are aware are probably smart enough to know Obama can deal with this minor situation on the road.
Your hate is clouding you judgement.

You didn't fix it very well! So I'm going to assume you don't fit into that crowd (the smart one) very well.
I definitely don't think you should be speaking for them either.
I know, aly-halls are in full effect. birfday time on the east coast, you got the point.
Lets just send all the Dems to N.K to fight this war
Vietnam part deux?
Nothing has happened. Nothing will happen.
We have nothing to worry about. This guy says nothing will happen.
Nah. Bush would've been a hippy back then and he took a raincheck on 'nam.
what does Bush have to do with sending Dems to NK? deflect moar pls.
North Korea always talks a big game. The next time they follow through with it will be the first time.
Defect from what? The actual possibility of loading up democrats and sending them to Korea? Sorry if I passed on that one.
From Guam, our threat level hasn't been raised.
We have ground to air defenses, as well as fighter jets who can take out missiles coming our way.
We will be ok, this is more of a "I'm taking my toys and going home!" type of situation than anything.
They also would not want to invade the island.. We have some of the best of the best military here, and the landscape of the island is quite ridiculous... Not to mention there are 3 active bases, and 2 reserve bases on an island that is 33x14 miles...
Yeah. That was good stuff.
