UCONN lost a lot of money going to the Fiesta Bowl, and they did pretty good on ticket sales. NIU is about to go bankrupt.
The MAC splits bowl revenue equally among its teams. So the real beneficiaries are... well... everybody but NIU. Plus they're gonna have to pony up to replace their coach.
They just bumped up their OC to permanent head coach. But thats interesting.
