For those programs that depend on hype, sports media, and weak schedules-the result will be total humiliation. Notre Dame was a perfect example of the media wanting them to good, using stats over inferior foes, and getting a sports network to feed the college football world a daily dose of dribble. Coaches across the football world, the professional handicappers, and purists saw this game coming. I hate it for the young Golden Domers because they are all fine young men; however, they were used like a tool to make money for a sports network.
Thanks for the input.

Pretty much. Te'o was given every award under the sun, yet had average stats compared to the best linebackers in the country. ND was given the game against Stanford, had to hope Pitt missed a short field goal, and beat BYU and Purdue by 3 damn points.
On my home board, I predicted the most lopsided championship victory in the BCS era in favor of Bama. Not sure if I was right, but it had to be close.
