why in the hell is this game the primetime matchup on ABC?
why would espn even pimp this game. Notre Dame is going to annihilate BC. this wont even be a game. usually they try and pick a matchup that people would want to see, this is going to be a snuff film
FSU Ambassador to the masses
Another reason to hate ND.
i just dont understand this choice for a primetime game. i dont have an issue with it being ND, just the matchup. i cant believe there wont be a more competitive game than this one.
this would be like televising the FSU murray state game in primetime. i think murray state might be better than BC is right now
1 reason- ND
3 time POTW
Touchdown Jesus said to televise it. Divine Intervention reigns.
haha youve gotta admit its a pretty crap matchup for primetime. BC sucks so badly its embarrassing
LULZ, the worst ABC game of the year. At least there will be 4 other games on to watch.
The other big games are on other networks.
best game of the week is Oregon St at Stanford, but that does not really have a national draw and is on FOX anyway. Winner probably goes to the Rose Bowl.
Next best game is TAMU at Bama, but that game is on CBS. So ABC just decided to go with Notre Dame who is a national draw.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
Pulling for the Beavers in that one.
When are you guys going to get it - ND draws a national fanbase and that drive commercial dollars through the roof.
Your unfounded hate for ND is blinding your ability to comprehend that advertisers pay top dollar to get ad time with a team that pulls 4.0-4.5 ratings weekly.
Good post Leppycole

so does FSU and Bama. just a bit odd that theyd pick that game. had to be the 10th choice on the list. has nothing to do with the team, just the matchup. usually primetime games are good games, not beatdowns like that one
stop being so sensitive
Would not call his post as being sensitive.
If Stanford wins, then Gameday will be in Autzen the following week for the Oregon vs Stanford game, if Oregon St wins, then Gameday is most likely in LA for the USC vs ucla game. Would be in interesting Gameday at the Rose Bowl where both fanbases will be equally represented.
sounded like he was whining about us hating on notre dame when we are just hating on the matchup. if it was you guys and USC nobody would have a problem with it. i like to watch good games at 8 and crappy ones at noon. that game should be a nooner
I would not consider it a prime time matchup.
Could, but OU and WV play a night game next weekend too. GameDay could be there, although it's not really the best matchup.
Sorry to burst your bubble - but there are very little FSU or Bama fans North of Tennessee and West of Texas.
FSU has not pulled a 4.0 rating since playing ND last year......
I could see them avoiding the USC ucla game, simply for security purposes. Could turn into a major headache to have that many opposing fans so close for an event like that. Fights will break out for sure.
WVU sucks man. Game Day isn't coming to morgantown in two weeks. After Oklahoma State hands WVU their 4th loss in a row, Morgantown may be burned to the ground anyway, so they would have to set up in Pittsburgh.
well we also havent played anyone this year either so its kinda hard to pull a big rating.
8pm = primetime slot = primetime matchup for better or worse
People watch ND games to see ND get beaten. You consider them "fans"?
You really think a 4.3 rating was gained from ND "fans" watching PITT take you to 3 OTs? REALLY?
ND vs OU was a 5.9....because ND was expected to lose and everyone wanted to see it.
BC / ND is no where near a loss for ND. ND has won it's games and the defense there is formidable, but you have to understand people want to watch ND because they want to see you lose--not because they are "fans".
Two largest fanbases in the nation, ND fans and ND haters. Great for ratings.
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
Hate it or love it ND draws. weather people tune in to see them lose or see them win they put eyes on the T.V.
ND=$$ Why do you think they have their own TV deal? Why do you think the other networks trip over each other to get in on their away games? Ratings & money.
