Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
I don't think that story is accurate.
You may run like Hayes, but you hit like $*!#
. Priceless. Congress actually punishing themselves by not having Obamacare. My gosh we have such incredibly noble people in Washington. Thanks for posting. That is spin gold.
F'em - funny how they want businesses and citizens to pay for this train wreck - but they do not want to pay their share????
No spin right? It's funny because you actually believe that.
Insert facepalm emoticon.
Not surprising at all. The politicians are the ruling class. They can't be expected to suffer under the same laws as us peasants.
I love how everyone accuses CockAtLaw of posting a "spin" article when he's the only one who's posted so far who actually understands the legal goings-on behind this.
Hooray for kneejerk reactions!
There is a lot to knock about Obamacare. However, at least understand what you are knocking rather than just rooting against it like a diehard college football team fan.
Obamacare prohibited congressional employees from having employer health insurance. This was an amendment added by a Republican trying to hurt the legislation. The amendment that is being discussed does not allow Congress employees to be treated like anyone else under Obamacare. All employers with over 50 employees must be provided health insurance by their employers. However, Congress, contrarily, cannot provide health insurance for its employees which number more than 50. It is the opposite of the rest of the country. Employees are now upset because they are losing a benefit, health insurance, that would upset the employee of any firm. Congressmen are worried about losing good staffers, because, unlike private industry, they are not able to provide health insurance.
I will be more than happy to read and consider any article that explains and cites why Klein is wrong. I doubt I will get any submissions.
Dems won’t seek ObamaCare exemption
Staffers work for their Congressman not Congress, and none of them have more than 50 staffers.
