Yes, otherwise it would be oversigning.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
Apparently nobody was paying attention to what happened with O' Daniel, Anzalone, Pocic, McGovern...
So far Hoke's recruiting is about the same/better than Meyer. Urban is having a terrible time getting O Linemen. We've had 7 4/5 star O Linemen the last two years compared to two at Ohio.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Who are the 5 * s that you speak of
I count 0 on 247

Oh, BTW. We recruited three legit 4* Tackles in the last 2 years. Wouldn't characterize that as terrible. Unless you confused tOSU with Ohio U again
Love how the only position UM talks about is OL just because Hoke hoards them. Last time I checked Defense wins championships... and look at our defensive line. You have NO ONE who is athletic enough to stay with Spence, Washington, or Bosa. Those dude clearly out match anyone you can line them up against. Thats not even counting Sevon Pittman, Michael Hill, Billy Price, or Tommy Schutt
If defense wins championships, then Michigan's doing great there too. Look at the commits. And Kalis, Magnuson, Braden, Bars, LTT, Dawson, Kugler, Fox, and Bosch would like a word with you.
Kalis is on I believe Rivals ESPN and Scout
lol we have better LBs and DBs too... and for that matter a better QB recruit
Recheck the thread, It is about O-Line, genius. Talk about quick to spout off.
And last time I checked none of those guys have played a down of college football yet.
Saban isn't s**t compared to what Urban was at UF.
Example: Pete ate everyone's lunch across the US on the trail: Joe McKnight, Keith Rivers, Nick Perry, Mike Morgan, RoJo, John David Booty, Emmanuel Moody, Broderick Green, TJ Bryant, Jarvis Jones, Frankie Telfort, Mike Williams.
Urban came into SoCal and took the consensus #1 player in America away from Pete. As good of a recruiter as Hoke is, he wouldn't be able to do that in a million years. Urban is no joke on the trail, better than Saban.

Walking up these hills you have no choice but to be fast!
Michigan has Taylor Lewan - a LT athletic enough to be projected to be a top 20 pick overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. And he's poised to move up if he performs better than expected.
Given UM's history of producing great NFL OLinemen, I'd say there's a high probability he at least meets expectations.
Lesson: Don't exaggerate with fanboyish statments like "[Michigan has] NO ONE who is athletic enough to stay with [unproven but highly regarded high school players X, Y, and Z]."
* * * N E O . R E T R O * * *
Try looking around.
I hear you, but so far to date, Hoke has walked into Ohio and other Midwestern states and taken kids with Corch Urbs offers. Hoke has proven to be able to get talent outside of the midwest also. Magnuson last year, Poggi this year, who had a final 2 of Michigan and Bama.
Your words fall on deaf ears. You're talking to a fanbase whose coach gave them an 11-2 season and #6 overall defense from a 7-6 season and the 110th defense. If that wasn't enough, he followed it up with a top 10 class and for the next season, already has most of the class done in JULY and it is likely to be rated in the top 3. So don't come in here and lecture us on Urban Meyer's recruiting prowess.

Exactly. And people are acting like OSU never recruited well before Urbie showed up. Tressel locked down the State of Ohio like Fort Knox and Michigan suffered because of it. Whatever Urbie is doing, I hope he keeps it up. We haven't recruited this well in over a decade.
