lately, we must assemble.
ND is getting away with manslaughter, rape, and lying about a tragedy and stealing awards... we must #falconsriseup against ESPN.
In ESPN's eyes:
Whipping Ass>>>>> Rape, Manslaughter, and Lying
Free Tats>>>>>> Rape, Manslaughter, and Lying

We love being hated.
Don't think you'll get much support from our fellow PSU posters, seeing as though you were the ring leader in making fun of them during their scandal. Maybe that's why you didn't include them in your title description.
I think he left them out because they don't qualify.
They should. They got lynch mobbed, through no fault of their own. By ESPN & by tbb with op leading the way. No one even blasts on tOSU or Aurburn anymore. No one can prove Cam Newton took money. & the OSU stuff occured because Tressel was not thinking.
It's more like:
Ratings from one of the biggest fan bases in the country > Everything else.
The fake outrage towards OSU when everything was blowing up was hilarious, really. When there's a huge fan base that gobbles up anything OSU and then there's everyone else on the other side of the table who mostly hates OSU and it's going to bring in a lot of viewers. Do I think most of the ESPN analysts really believe what they say 95% of time? No way in hell. They're just pushing out anything that will bump up the ratings and having the actors/analysts feign disgust only heightens the situation in the viewers eyes.
They are more like E, than ESPN. They report gossip & opinion more than anything.
I'm of the opinion that if child rape is covered up from the top to the bottom of both the program and administration and said rapist is allowed to stay on staff and continue interacting with children via camps, charity's etc then ESPN didn't do anything more than what was deserved.
I'm talking about their fans. Did they do those things? No. But everyone wanted blood & didn't care where from. The people responsible are all going to jail, Joe Paterno was disgraced & rightfully so. But their fan base didn't deserve the bashing they received. Being called child rapist & supporters of child rape. ESPN sensationalized the sh!t out of it. It was on 24/7 on all their outlets.
Someone should burn ESPN to the ground, it's the E network for men at this point.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
neither of us raped kids so they can stay out of it. They are like the KKK in the room
That's brilliant idea we have no worries if Auburns leading the charge. If my memory serves me correct it was Auburn fans that jumped on ND bandwagon against arch nemesis Bama and we know how that turned out.
TURDS ALL UP IN THIS MUG. /// "2010 Auburn Tigers, my favorite team. Unbeaten in all ways." -- Dan Wetzel, April 4, 2013, 6:29 p.m.
You mean Cam whipped ass.
The fans of PSU, which I have seen first hand more than once, should not be grouped, just as any selection of people should not be grouped. They have some good fans and some real A Faces like every where else.
However many of their fans praised Paterno and held pep rallies for lack of a better term in his front yard after the news broke and evidence damning him was released. I get it, dudes a legend and some people will stand by their man or have a riot.
Still, they and we are products of our media formulated opinions as well as our indoctrinated and brain washed fandom based opinions. I currently feel bad for them which is weird for me. I feel worse for the players.
ESPiN is manipulative because they can be. Until another force steps into the "Sports Entertainment" sector as a big player it will continue.
I can't believe an SEC school fan brought this up.
I could care less about Paterno. He was in on it IYAM. There is no defending him. If he were still alive, he would more than likely been dragged off in cuffs to face perjury charges.
You have no idea if that's true.
What makes a fan base deserve to be bashed then?
PSU fans acted like they were the victims, discrediting every source and every real victim that came out...
But I guess by your logic, when Tressel was fired OSU shouldn't of gotten any sanctions either?
So he told the truth when he told a Grand Jury that he didn't know Sandusky was diddling little boys. He knew, he thought he was untouchable in that town & on that campus. The man had a huge ego, evidenced by the way he held that school & football program hostage the last 8-10 years of his career. He should have called it a day around 2000 & retired. He ruined himself imo.
Tressel should not have been fired. He should have been made to sit out a year during the one year probation & bowl ban. I actually respect the fact that he did it to protect his players.
Not me... he put himself and the kids above the University... problem is he allowed it to foster to begin with. Pryor had a different set of rules from day 1. Tressel got at Troy Smith for 100 handshake... he let TP walk on water .... Had Tressel done the right thing it would have been a minimal suspension erly in the season and wed have moved on...
You have no idea what you're talking about.
youve said that 2 times... enlighten the thread
You think Butch Davis was just protecting his players too?
He didn't say anything like what big John said on his testimony. It was a seven minute testimony. The only thing that could be perjury is him saying he didn't remember any incidents from before 2002. Good luck proving someone remembered something they said they didn't from 15 years ago in court. Very difficult case.
