Is it better than time warner cable? Any help is appreciated.
if you like sports you can't beat it
Do you have any recommendations on what package is the best for sports.
This !! I had dish for 14 years. Been with DirectTV for almost 5 months and love it ! Sports is awesome and the HD is great. They gave me NFL Sunday ticket free this season. Not exactly sure what my sports package is but I get a ton of College games every Saturday. RTR

It really bothers me how its not common knowledge
If you can get direct TV you get it
Nothing else comes close to being as good
That new google shit is gonna change the game though
Can't wait untill it takes over
Antenna is better than Time Warner.
Direct and Dish are the top providers. I prefer Dish, myself. I really want to try AT&T Uverse. Hear good things.
Google is God.
Sunday ticket for free is effin tight, i got it in my place in j ville but haven't fully moved in yet
Perfect time to start a new run with the best television network there is
You heard about their thing coming out ?
Pretty sure we had a thread on it
ive thought about moving to kansas city fir a few months just to check it out
I'm not sure what the difference is between Dish and Direct anymore because I've had Dish for 10 years because when I did have Direct, it sucked. My neighbors have it and don't like it so I've seen no reason to change.
I'm not much for NFL anymore but gotta say the Sunday ticket is nice. I didn't ask for it they just gave it. I'm locked in for 2 years on my package. Taxes, 4 receivers, HD on 2 TVs, free sunday ticket, and free hbo , max, Showtime, starz , etc for 6 months is costing me $82 a month.
+1 for the replies, just called and set up my installation.
I also don't watch the NFL much but free sunday ticket ? Yeah ill take it
You won't be disappointed.

If I would have seen this earlier I would have given you my account number. You could have said that I referred you. We both would have gotten $100.

Time Warner is straight doo-doo. I'm so over their tv but it's my only option :( :(
Only issue with directv is storms. It's gotten better but my parents still goes out a lot.
I have Dish Network. A bad thunderstorm gives me an excuse to watch Bama destroy Arky again. Gotta love DVR.
I asked this a couple days ago and got mixed responses with most saying its better but has problems like support, doesn't work right in the rain etc..
My decision was made up this weekend when at the bar I was at basically every out of market football game went out including the one I was watching. It said "blocked out" even though they had the sports package. I missed 3 tds for my team because of that BS. We then called several other bars in the area which all were experience the same thing. DirectTV will occasionally block out games without warning and it is hell to get them back on in a short am mount of time.
I am sticking with TWC and will stream other games I cant get

Time Warner has the PAC-12 network, while Direct TV does not.
Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
Who gives a shit about the pac-12 network
I wouldn't base my channel provider on something so ridiculous
It's important to college football fans. If you prefer the NFL, then Direct TV is the way to go.
The west coast, nobody else cares
If Direct TV added say an ACC network i wouldn't give 2 shits
TW doesn't have NFL Network either, even tho there's a Thursday game every week!
There are games, like next weeks USC @ Cal game that can only be seen on the PAC-12 network. If there were an ACC network, and Florida St played a game on it, I am sure you would in fact give a shit.
