That's going too far. There is no way Weed would let a Marine have secks with his butt.
Marines don't ask, they take
Weedline wouldn't have much say in the matter
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Nova hates FMJ, brings back too many bad memories of being denied by Mary Jane Rottencrotch...
Better war movie:? : iron eagle or top gun?
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
We are here to help the Vietnamese, because inside every gook there is an American trying to get out. It's a hardball world, son. We've gotta keep our heads until this peace craze blows over.
Everything TC touches is gold imo. I can think of only two fails in his entire career.
According to my old man who was a Marine and went through Paris Island, he says it was damn close.. Especially the barracks. Said it looked just like that. I think they filmed at a base in Cali. The scenes outdoors did not resemble Paris Island.
Its his favorite movie. Said the soap in the towel shit happened several times to one guy when he was there. Total Mind Fvck is all it was.
I Ain't got no Worries - Lebron James
Agreed. The episode "Why We Fight" is one of the best hours of television/cinema ever!
I would throw in The Pacific as a better series/show than FMJ as a movie.
The draw back for me in comparison to Band of Brothers is that it wasn't as fluid.
Finally we agree on something!
Everyone in this thread is wrong. The answer is clearly Major Payne.
Band of Brothers is Best by Far (maybe biased though, Paw Paw was part of the Screaming Eagles) and Saving Private Ryan was really good too. Went to see it and sat with some D Day vets and they were amazed at how accurately portrayed it was.
2. bridge on the river kwai
3. apocalypse now
4. kellys heros.
i guess these are a few of my favs
Good movie with seeing, yes. Top 10, I don't think so but I'm sure it is top ten in popularity. I would argue it isn't kibricks best war movie (paths of glory).
Compiling a war movie list would take days. It would take a day to figure out what a war movie is......shindlers list, dr strangelove, mash, good morning Vietnam or even Casablanca? If die hard is a Christmas movie wouldn't Casablanca be a war movie?
Top mordern combat movies (braveheart, not counting) off the top of my head are mainly older movies including appocolipse now, Patton, deer hunter, great escape, dirty dozen, band of brothers (if it counts), glory (modem?).
