after they graduated college and entered the workforce? The stuff is great for productivity, but I hate feeling cracked out or too wired alot the time.
Just curious if anyone else is still taking it.
I never took the stuff, but I know of a number of other attorneys who require some sort of stimulant to get through their workload. It gets pretty bad in some of the NY firms when you run into associates who needed adderall to get through their workload in law school and can't do the expected amount of work when not popping pills.
Never took it in college. Abuse it for work sometimes (not on the regular though). It's money.
Phhht. If an associate 'needed' adderall to get through a piddling law school work load then they'd be absolutely fvcked at Skadden or Sullivan or whatever. The work load of school vs being associate slave are night and day.
Seriously. I always told myself that if I couldn't get through my workload in law school sober, I'd never make it as an associate. I know a guy at Milbank who's going to burn out in three years, tops. Way too much adderall in school.
EDIT: He also has a cocaine problem, but shockingly enough, I think that makes him better at his job.

Rehab clinics and jails are full of people on adderall. Most people that stay on it for a long time eventually need xanax( extremely addictive anti-anxiety med) and/or move on to cocaine or ice. Put it down before you become a statistic.
It's definitely a gateway drug to white bag or ice
Inadvertently took it about 3.5 years ago as it was illegally included as an ingredient in an over the counter fat burner SlimXtreme. It was taken off the market about 6-8 weeks after I 1st tried it due to the ingredients.
I was eating Domino's and fast-food just to stop from getting too lean. Had to stop after about 7-10 days as I absolutely couldn't sleep but felt like I was processing/reading about 20-30% faster than normal. Crazy sweats as well while sitting at my desk at work.
I could see using it during Finals Week in Undergrad but not over more than the aforementioned 7-10 days without a break in use.
Yeah, I never touched it in college or grad school because there was really no reason - tho I imagine it would have helped if I was cramming for something. Work wise there will be periods where I'll be averaging 3 hours of sleep a night. That's when I'll go to the add. To stay awake. Doesn't really make me high or euphoric, just alert.
The white is a totally different animal tho. He'll get blown out fast. Pun intended.
Only took it while playing at a few MLG events....stuff makes you concentrate like a mofo
I don't think my jaw could handle taking that stuff on the reg.
Adderral gets you so messed up you give bj's? Never heard of that side effect before.
ECU grad, tOSU fan for life. Father since 1/12/13.
stay away from x if you grind on addy.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
Buddy of mine was an Olineman at Bama, and while I really don't know whether they dose based on size, I can assure you his dose was too much for me.... I basically slept through an accounting class for most of the semester b/c it was 8am on Mon/Wed/Fri. Therefore, I was only semi-concious for the Wed class. So, at final time, I had dragged through with a middling B, but the final was worth 35%. My OL buddy gave me either the aderall or ridalyn or whatever and so I fix a pot of coffee and start looking at my purchased class notes at around 10pm the night before the final.
I heard my roommates alarm clock go off while I was still studying. I look up, it's daylight. Made an A on the test. I was afraid I would rule the world if I ever took it again, so I didn't. I have a phobia of assassination.
Tried Molly a couple times in college and never really had a problem with grinding on it.
If I took a time released adderal though, I'd go through a can or two of dip in a night of studying. It was the only thing that kept me from crushing my teeth.
Hmmm doesn't sound like the stuff i know and love. I grind on X and not on addy or ritalin or concerta.
Adderall is the devil's drug.
