So you'd like him to coach whatever team it is you like this week? I know you're nervous cause you wanted him to bury them further before a coach taps their strong suits and we roll....it's all good.
For me personally I don't care for the guy. My dislike has nothing to do with his coaching however...but I'd take him over mike or Stan.

Brian Shaw would work
I mean I'd rather have Spo coaching the Heat, and I'd rather have Casey coaching the Raps. But that doesn't change the fact that the Lakers slow start has little to do with Brown.
I don't know how to be any more clear, I am far from afraid of the Lakers. Old, slow, and big teams don't scare me whatsoever.
Lineup Dwight, Paul, Ron-Ron, Kobe, and Nash and tell me how they guard Bosh, LBJ, Wade, Allen, and Chalmers/Battier?
Zone? We bomb threes all day on you. Man-to-man? LBJ rapes Pau all day. Plus we out athletic you, and run on you all day.
Lakers are going to need to matchup against the Heat, not the other way around.
I don't understand why they didn't hire him when they hired brown
They didn't want the Lakers to be Shaw's first head coaching job in the league because of the pressure of that job IIRC. It's a stupid premise, and it landed my Toronto Maple Leafs some old ass hack coach because of a similar sentiment.
Works for me.
Would love to see dwights face if they hired Stan Van Gundy...
Will never happen, so no use in discussing.
I know... I know, i'm still bitter about dwight leaving, sooo.
If Phil comes back
Orlando will be better off without Dwight. Guy was never going to win a title as the proverbial "franchise player" in Orlando, so it's better off rebuilding and trying again with a new strategy IMO.
Dwight is very selfish, but some coaches and players just can't get along. Kobe never got along with Mike Brown, but it wasn't publicized.
I'm good with our team, and what we are doing. I like our new coach a lot. The hate is strong with me though and i just want to see Dwight fail, and Mike Brown all but assured that

Yeh I want to see Dwight fail also. Guy sucks as a person and isn't funny even though he thinks he is.
What's this we stuff... you got range?
Just throwing these two items out there, I might be reading too much into it but here goes:
1. The Lakers have said that the assistant coach (think its Bernie Bickerstaff) will coach tonight. No mention of future games.
2. Phil Jackson has a speaking engagement next week in Chicago that he has been replaced for.

Heat Nation baby! Always deflect when you realize you have no hope of winning discussion.
It's pointless to have one based on winning the discussion..you believe what you believe and I believe what I believe..we aren't going to change each others minds..so may as well make it light when possible!
Fair enough. I hope you know BBucks I hate the Lakers, but a lot of my criticisms are purely troll based. Just getting back at Lakers fans for all the trashing of the King they have done.
That being said, not worried about the Lakers beating the Heat should they meet in the finals.
If Phil was back, the Lakers "could" beat the Heat. Even if Phil is offered and accepts though, it will take him and the team about a month or longer to find their groove.
Could make a good run if everything starts to click and nobody is injured.
I'm with you man. I know they are....it's what we do!
They made a mistake not hiring Brian Shaw.
