Harming an innocent animal makes you the lowest scum on the planet. Castrate the people responsible for this.
Agreed. Said individuals should get the ole' eye for an eye treatment.

That's a cool looking dog. Glad to hear things worked out for him.
Happy days are here again!!!!

I'm so glad he survived and is recovering. Hopefully he keeps his eyesight. Whoever did it deserves to die themselves.
God i hate whoever did that.
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
I'll be honest, if it had been a cat; I wouldn't be that upset.
Vehemenently disagree. Taking advantage of innocent children is way worse you should get your priorities straight.

Children can tell someone. The dog cannot.
I agree with you when it comes to adults. I like dogs a lot more than I do humans. Humans are nasty things.
Always put a child ahead of a dog, though. Children>dog>adults.
If there was a burning building, and your dog and a stranger was in the building and can't get out... Who are you going for? My head tells me the person. Not sure my heart would take me to the person, though.
My reasoning? I know my dog would try his hardest to pull me from a burning building. I can't say the same about that person in there.
Psshhh... I get way more hate for being a PSU fan (Sandusky) than being an Eagles fan (Vick).

I'm grabbing my dog and not even thinking twice about it. We have five at home, and I'd grab all five of them before the stranger. If that makes me a bad person then so be it.

Id save a human before my dog any day of the week
I'm an avid animal lover. They're a part of my family. I'm running in to get my family before some stranger.
That is the same way I am. My dog is family. I save my family first.
Don't know how you can willingly pick a dog knowing that the human is part of somebodies family.
Because I treat my animals like family. I love my pets. When one dies it's like losing a best friend, a person, a loved one. I guess I just enjoy animals more than you do. No biggie.
How old are your dogs? Maybe I'm looking at it from my perspective where my dog (12 yrs old) only has a handful of years left, hard for me to justify not saving any person over her. And I love her
Should have named him Rasputin...
I'm with the Arky fan, and probably even more extreme. I love my dog more than almost anything.
I'd die trying to save my dog over live trying to save a stranger.
It's okay, I'm slowly learning my lesson from Emmert. He's helping all of us with our problem (according to him).
Dogs >>> People.
It is a fact.
Any specie that would do something like this to an innocent animal for no reason is scum.
If I had a choice of saving someone I'd save a child over a dog, but I'd save a dog over an adult stranger any day of the week.
