I didn't say it was proper healthcare. I said that's what has been done the last 40 years. Do you think there's some fairy tale land out there that all poor sick people will be treated with great healthcare that won't bankrupt a country already teetering on the financial ledge?
Yet he does if he wants to drive.
Depends on how bad he wants to drive
Btw, Jeff is entitled to be an ignorant hick and to not pay taxes. He loves his entitlements.
Every region has hospitals that have provided healthcare for patients with cancer or any other life threatning illness for years at no cost to them. There's been safety nets provided for decades.
Lol at anyone being a Bama fan calling someone else a hick
Ah, ok. Excuse me. I thought you might wanna throw out an actual response. My apologies.
You should know better by now. It is either emoticons, or lol
So you're entitled to health care?
There's a 99 percent probability that you love camouflage.
Nope....not entitled to anything. Our current adminstration wants you to believe you are entitled to everything though
So... are these smartphones? Do they get free data with these phones?
I have a crappy old flip phone because that is all I "need" (and I use that term loosely). They better not be getting more than that.
Spoken like a true Alabamian
I don't think that they are. Heck, they shouldnt be receiving anything
Most Alabamians make fun of rednecks and camouflage?
Most Alabamians love the hickish stuff etc. Too bad you are completely way off in your assessment of me.
Try to keep the thread on topic. It is okay if you are poor
Apparently you're entitled to have your tax dollars go to only programs that you like. You love your entitlements. Btw, you're such an unreasonable blow hard, you're going to make impossible for people with your point of view to ever win another national election. Its hilarious. You're probably not bright enough to figure that out though.
You really are poor huh?
Fortunately for me I'm far from poor.
I find the give away gang so interesting,,,
I was at one time in my life one of these people who worked my butt off for less than $10 an hour...
There were many things (such as a cell phone ) I couldn't afford, so I didn't have one. I scrimped to afford health care. We worked very hard and only got what we could afford. I didn't begrudge others for what they had, nor did I expect them to pay a portion of mine.
I am no longer in that situation, far removed actually. I worked my way through school and fought my way up in my industry and now I am in a way better place.
I never had expectations of being entitled to anything yet now it seems so much of what I make is being taken and allocated to others because they are " entitled" ,,,
My question is when did it change and why? Why is someone more entitled to a cell phone now than when I was trying to get to the point of being able to afford one?
What sense of accomplishment do people feel when given these things?
It used to be embarrassing to be on govt assistance and now it seems to be a badge of honor for some.
Perhaps it is generational, I am about 40 years old,,,
Out of curiosity I wonder,,and understand if you don't care to disclose but what are the ages of those involved in the various sides of tis discussion.
I think that may be enlightening as to the opinions,,,,or perhaps not.
I used together angry about this type thing,,,now I just find it fascinating.
I'm just glad to see you not run away for a change. When we started talking about how much money did you give to the poor, you ran away
You must love losing.
If only there were more people like you.
You got dem 20" rims homie?
