Right back at ya. You disprove my opinion with your opinion and ask for a scattered dot chart as proof for mine.
4.3 million people in the US are on welfare.
In 2012, 46 million people in the US made under the poverty line.
Less than 10% of those people considered officially "impoverished" receive any sort of welfare support.
Math is your friend.
WASHINGTON (AP) s poor remained stuck at record levels, although dwindling unemployment benefits and modest job gains helped stave off what experts had predicted would be the fourth rise in a row in the poverty rate. With joblessness persistently high, the gap between rich and poor increased in the last year, according to two major census measures. Also, the median, or midpoint, household income was $50,054, 1.5 percent lower than 2010 and a second straight decline. A Census Bureau report released Wednesday provides a mixed picture of the economic well-being of U.S. households for 2011, when the unemployment rate improved to 8.9 percent from 9.6 percent in the previous year.
Statistics and facts on business, consumer, sports, financials, world news
Food-stamps, WIC etc. Nice try though. The problem is that Welfare was the only thing that was reformed.
And if we don't assume that 100% of those on welfare are lazy leeches...
So IYO, rising unemployment numbers and extended benefits proves that people aren't abusing the system? Reading comprehension is your friend.
Edit: Extended unemployment benefits give more incentive to not look for work.

Then there are only like 15 people abusing the system right? Combine those with the 3 people in the ME behind terrorism and take them out...BOOM!....heaven on Earth.
Ah, we're moving the endzones now, are we?
Alright, according to the previously cited statistics, ~46 million people receive food stamp benefits. This stands to reason, given that ~46 million people live below the poverty line.
Now that you have those numbers, how about you show us anything at all that indicates that a large percentage of the poor abuse the system or commit any kind of fraud?
You're all about the extremes, aren't you? You're familiar gray is a color, right?
Are you actually retarded?
The point at issue is whether a majority of poor people on welfare (or, I guess we're now talking about people who receive any governmental benefits) are abusing the system. I've just shown you that it's physically impossible for a majority of poor people to be on welfare and abusing the system because only a small minority of poor people are even on welfare. If we're talking about all governmental benefits, then I once again implore you to show me anything, any statistics or studies or research whatsoever that demonstrates that a significant percentage of poor people who receive governmental benefits are abusing the system.
Don't forget to consider that he makes less money than Romney, and has kids. That being said, he probably should be paying more than 18%.
So I just checked Georgia's unemployment benefits. It looks like someone on the program can earn between $44 and $330 a week for up to a maximum of 26 weeks. So per year, either $2,112 to $15,840. Hardly seems like "living the life."
He absolutely should. Hence why the tax code needs significant revision.
But dude they all drive Mercedes with 11 kids they had to exploit the system.
Because poor people can't actually just be poor, they have to be leeches.
Racism? Did I mention anyone's race? I know several white people that are leeches. But I guess that is a talking point that you can go back to when the rest don't make sense.
If they can buy a Mercedes on that kind of money, where's my Bugatti?
Gotta start welfaring bro.
Criticize that comment all you want, but you still haven't provided a single source of any kind backing up your opinion.
With his claims of racism, he reveals his own. The majority of people on food stamps are white, but he naturally assumes that only minorities use welfare so that when you bring it up it's racism.

So you admit you are a racist. Good to know.
Question for those ITT
Would you a policy centered around this?
Obama asked Bill the other day.."hows Hillarys head?"
Bill replied...."Monicas is better"
Lol, your "proof" and 2 year old government stats didn't prove shit. You say that less than 5 million people are on welfare while ignoring that welfare programs expand further than just welfare. Over 100 million Americans receive some form of government handouts paid for by working taxpayers.
You can't measure an unmeasurable. Use common sense.
That's because people who get these expanded unemployment checks go out and work for cash and then say that they received no compensation when they file for their checks. They may only receive $10k or so a year from the government but they make that and more under the table, tax free.
Common sense doesn't jive with libs.
Cash from an employer? If so, then the employer is liable.
