These 5* recruits could be going to LSU, UGA, Florida or somewhere that could actually compete with Bama. Instead they'll be a part of a couple of 8-win Ole Miss teams, enjoy an Outback and a Chick-fil-a Bowl and move on.
Those great teams you mention will be Ole Miss' whipping boys in a few years. Just be patient and you watch and see!
Says an Ole miss fan to a Bama fan
God, give me patience today. If given strength I may beat someone to death.
File that under things that should be said never
Ole Miss might actually need to get to a SEC conference championship game first before that kind of talk can occur... They've never been... and they probably never will for another couple of decades....
I don't understand why everyone thinks that they will be a nonfactor at Ole Miss. Good players make good teams and if Ole Miss has good players they can beat the good teams. They played most of us tough this year with a bunch of scrubs too.

If only Snead had some years left at QB, right?
Ole Miss minus a Manning= Memphis.
If you're not worried about Ole Miss then why keep posting threads about us?? I've probably seen 4 or 5 threads like this in the last month, why keep bringing it up?
To suspect something fishy going on due to all of these great recruits committing would make sense but saying that those kids can't end up making a team great doesn't make sense.
But it does make sense because the bottom half of their class is weak. Those 5*'s have to sub out at some point...
even after going 3-9 I can still laugh at you
Saban is the bagman IMO. It will be confirmed next year when Vandy signs the #1 class.

Think about it this way.
Add 4 5* players to Tennessee last season and you're3-5 or 4-4 in the SEC instead of 1-7.
Something for Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Miss St, and the likes to worry about? Sure.
Alabama, Florida, UGA, and teams like that? Meh.
Not to mention that Jake Holland's brother is their QB.
I like Vandy. I would like to see them have a little success
Takes more then 1 good year of recruiting. If Ole Miss keeps it up I'm sure people will give them credit. NCAA will probably have them on sanctions sooner than later.
Im sure all of those other teams players who have actually accomplished something will just roll over to all of those 5 *s.
Seriously tho. Good for Ole Miss. Dreamin BIG. Now you have to continue this every year to be on equal footing and really compete.
On the bright side the SEC could lead the nation in QB's moms with fake tits.
ouch. BetterOff is swinging for the fences.
Aaaaaand this would make thread #5 on the front page I have seen regarding Ole Miss today! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
The Future Is Bright! Hotty Toddy
I see your point but if they continue to recruit like this year after year they will have the ability to beat most teams. Any team can lose any saturday. Hell our defense gave up 300 points a game and we still almost beat USC & UGA. College football be crazy.
I'm pretty satisfied with our class, and Ole Miss didn't compete or beat us for anybody. It's not over yet either :)
