If you don't agree with that u are a blind homer.
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
Very true.. I won't be upset if Te'o, JFF or CK wins. It's a weak year and all 3 are deserving in my opinion.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Pretty much how I feel

No blind homer. Do your goddamn homework before you call me that.
wow wow wow
Good one douche.
Why thank you sir.
No problem. I know you will but stay cool.
Greatest defensive year EVER. Straight Heisman robbery.
actually no because that same year Barry Sanders put up the greatest offensive season in history
2600+ rush yards
3200+ all purpose
this was in 11 games not counting his bowl where he added 222 yards rushing and 5 TDs
so through 12 games he put up nearly 2900 yards rushing and 44 TDs
Its insane how such an average season for an LB gets him into the Heisman.
If Kevin Minter played for ND and Te'o played for LSU, Minter would be a Heisman finalist and winning other awards. Same with a lot of linebackers this year.
So all the coaches and former players that voted for Te'o to win the other awards are secretly ND fans? We own the world! I don't care who wins the award we have our eyes on the bigger prize. Manziel deserves it, enjoy the Cotton Bowl A&M..
No, they are idiots that don't watch games. Media sheep.
Let me first say that I've wanted true defensive players to win it for a long time. Not because of my partiality to defensive players, but because SOMETIMES THEY'RE THE BEST PLAYER IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!
I'm also not a stats guy (not always). If it's an offensive guard, so be it. If it's gotta be a quarterback, look at what he did when the game was on the line. Look at his efficiency and what he means to his players in the huddle...not just yards/td's. I say this because it's so easy to look for all you need to see in a QB, but not necessarily a defensive player or lineman.
I don't know if Teo is the best player in football, and I think Manziel is incredible (would probably be my vote, though not because of his season of stats). I think to be fair, you have to look at what Teo has meant to his team.
Finally, I'm going to sort of break a rule of my own here and go back to the Derrick Thomas point my fellow Bama guys have pointed out. There wasn't anyone in football that year that was even in the ballpark of how amazing he was that season. 27 sacks and 44 TFL? That's ridiculous. I was a little league linebacker at the time wanting to be the next Derrick Thomas (I'll save you the suspense...I came up juuuuust short).
Sometimes, it just should be a defensive guy. I personally would vote Manziel, but I'll tip my hat to Teo if he wins it.
Ricky Williams won it 1998.
ND hype machine.
If Manziel had done the exact same thing at Notre Dame he would be "revolutionizing football" and "shattering records" and Te'o would be an overrated LB from the SEC.
He has better stats than Derrick Thomas? I effing doubt it.
LOL if anyone doesn't think Manziel hasn't already held his trophy. You have bet 150 dollars in Vegas to win 10. Think about it guys. They should've only flown one person to the ceremony
This is one year that the Heisman shouldn't be awarded. No one has stood out and earned it.
How Christian of you...
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
I'm sorry your team sucked this season
Hey, if you're boy Joannie Football should happen to win it, at least it will be a
Lifetime Longhorn fan accepting the trophy. Think about that.
Your team could have had him and not sucked. . . . . . think about that.
