He's a 3* 87 with 40+ offers from the who's who of college football with an NFL pedigree.
Doesn't have NFL potential.
Must be an OSU
I think 247 has him rated too high....
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
The kid played at 370+ lbs. this past year and had a hard time cracking his own team's starting lineup. Brown had a terrible year, plain and simple. Sloppy! We'll see if he can tap his potential this year after cutting significant weight. Also, I'm sure the # of committable "offers" are significantly less than the # of check marks on his recruiting profile.
I agree with the poster that thinks he's rated too high. If he wasn't a Brown, he'd be a low 3* prospect.

Working on his body ... that could help.
He made great strides in the past year, but now he needs to take a few more steps forward.
With a better body, and greater understanding of the game, I think he'll keep progressing. If that happens, a ratings bump is possible.
He was solid at the Under Armour combine two months ago. The next step is to have a good spring.
He seems determined to get better.

This... He's got to get control of his weight.
He's afraid of flags.
Has a crap ton of verbal offers because staffs saw his name and size and wanted to get a foot in the door. It's obvious that as staffs vet him out further they slow down or stop pursuing him.
There is no good weight over 330, and he has a lot of it.
At last check, he was in the 345 range. At one time, he was over 400.
