Christianity is against this message, what forum or megaphone would you like to hear it be declared from? Christianity doesn't exactly have a tv station you'd be watching or anything. Not like Al Jazeera.
All Christians think like this. In fact most religions are built around hate.
just a matter of time
I'm not acting like a prick you crazy bltch. You want me to leave you alone as I do you but yet you think you can keep trying to talk to me on here. If you see a post from me from now on either ignore it, or ignore it. Those are your two options.
Gringo Mafia Sergeant at Arms - 5 time POTW
They normally do not "breed" anyways. And guess what.......most gays come from heterosexual couples.
Seriously? Everytime some lunatic claiming to be a Christian says something dumb, you expect the Christian community to speak out? 99.999999999999 percent of real Christians have never seen this guy or this video, nor will they. It's pretty obvious to anyone that knows anything about the real Christian faith, that this guy does not represent the majority. He's a misguided pig hiding behind what he thinks the Bible says. This is not indicative of how the Christian community feels Gays should be treated. God loves them like he does everyone else. Doesn't mean they're right, but a sin is a sin and we're all sinners.
The Christian faith is about tolerance and love first and foremost. Every real Chirstian will tell you that. Most will also tell you that homosexuality is wrong, but not condemnation to death and hell. Lying is wrong, adultery is wrong, judging is wrong. Doesn't mean everyone who's done one of those things doesn't have God's love and/or can't love God as well. This guy doesn't speak for me, the Christians I know, and he certainly doesn't speak for God.
Which is why his plan will never happen but he can publically say what he wants. He's exercising his constitutional rights. American spirit wins here.
All? Meh. No.
Because he/she is an idiot? Deductive reasoning IMHO.
I don't see what we disagree about at all. Re-read my post.
The message is wrong, but what the guy said was right. If you isolated the same-sex homosexuals in separate areas they will die off, even if you feed and cloth them, etc.
Unless you are saying that's not the case, I don't see the point in you responding?
Again, I'm not saying his message is a good one, but it's an accurate hypothetical.
Go on with what?
The constitution protects the homo's and the crazy pastor. That's a win for American values.
Well, duh. I'm just saying, the thread title isn't accurate because the guy never said anything about starving them. He basically made the completely OBVIOUS point that they can't procreate. He was preaching the and to the lowest common denominators.
My cover is blown
i read the thread title, got my popcorn ready, watched the video and was disappoint. : l
nothing too controversial IMO. his point is... lesbians and gay men can't make babies. ok? derrrp. haha.
My post wasn't really posted toward you. Its just amazing that "some" on here are so god damn hypocritical. They want the constitution to protect alternate lifestyles yet can't stand when the Pastor stands up and exercises his constitutional right. Then Christians are too judgemental but not enough when it comes to this pastor. there's some serious John Kerry Flip Flopping going on in here.
Problem with American church: false salvation doctrine has "saved" millions of goats and tares. This guy is just charismatic enough to have gotten himself a church to lead. Im sure his sermons are doctrinally as sound as the current Titanic most other sundays as well.
Actually what he said is not accurate. Even if you isolate gays and lesbians the gay population will not die off. Gays and lesbians do not contribute in any significant way to the upcoming generations of homosexuals. While you are correct in saying that the isolated population will die off eventually, it will not lead to the demise of homosexuality (which I believe was his intention).
I don't disagree at all.
Again, for the second time, go back and re-read my original post.
I specifically said that those quarantined populations of gays would die off, but that straight folks would still crap out some queers from time to time. I mean, duh... gays didnt just show up all of a sudden because of disco in the 70s.
Can we try Miami fans just to be on the safe side and make sure your theory is correct?
You didn't listen to the video, did you? He never said he was going to starve them. As a matter of fact he said the he wanted to fly over the camps and drop food for them. Regardless of whether he fed them or not eventually those in the camps would die, everyone does, but it still would not accomplish his big goal of eradicating the US of homosexuals.
Sub-human...I think you are getting a bit radical with your words now.
Unfortunately, way more than 1% of my fellow christians are anti-LGBTQ, but your word choice is a bit extreme. I used to be part of the group that believed the LGBTQ community were making an immoral choice. Then one day it hit me that I was a giant tool/bigot. But I never thought they were sub-human, and neither do 99% of Christians.
All cults and Large cults (aka "religions) should be banned from this country.
I'm still laughing about the end of the video:
"Can you imagine kissing another man?" (licks his lips)
Again, this kind of language is just going to the other extreme and being close-minded on the other end.
To say that religions are nothing more than a cult and should be banned is being bigoted too. I'm willing to call out my fellow Christians when we are being bigoted, but you need to understand that with comments like the one above you deserve the same designation.
If you want to use this Pastor as a straw-man to portray Christians in general, and then think that makes it ok to say things like you just said...it's just not right.
And just so we are very clear, I understand that YOUR STUPID COMMENT is not representative of the non-religious community. Most non-religious people I know are polite and courteous.
