I've said it since the story broke.
Him putting that out got him millions in business. The fact that he claimed to get PSU got him hired elsewhere to do similar things for huge $$$. This was a huge PR ploy for his firm. How many people had heard of him before he nailed PSU? How many have now?
Everyone has something to gain. The fact that people think he was unbiased is ridiculous. The fact that PSU people think this Paterno report will be unbiased as well is also ridiculous.
I just can't fathom how someone with even a modicum of intelligence can't understand this.
The report is from the family that has been accused. The rest of the world thinks its s joke.

technically? kids were abused.. hope he sleeps at night based on technically... Should he be absolved for technically doing his job when his voice trumps anything in Pennsylvania. He could have been the stopper point blank and saved tons of kids. Youre killing me money.
Wow, you're pathetic.
“If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.” ― Haruki Murakami
YOU may not think it does, but for most of the sports world... It really does make him seem more guilty.
Yea, well a lot of people think the Freeh report is a joke.
based on what? knowledge and facts apparently none of us have yet? Thats been the defense this whole time ITT, but everyone knows the Freeh Report was a fraud based on mysterious intel.

I honesty respect you and think you are very level headed poster.
I understand what you are saying. But can you say that he wouldn't have made all that money after if he discovered evidence that helped paterno?
He was paid either way.

Based on everything he had to gain from it. That is what
Let me help you...
A lot of "psu" people think the Freeh report is a joke.
For the most part, I think you're a good poster, but let's be honest - the people who might hire Freeh already know who he and his firm are. The fact that more of the public knows who he is isn't going to change much about his business.
I guess we will find out tomorrow when another report is released huh
Mr. Freeh was a saint correct? Lol
As I said before, Freeh has a history of jumping to conclusions and trying to base his findings around whatever he predetermined happened. The Olympic bomber that wasn't and the FIFA investigation are prime examples. Why is it so hard to believe that he may have done it here as well?
And just so you know, you are talking to a some PSU fans that have been quite critical of Paterno through this whole thing, so just be careful about classifying us as blind followers and whatnot.
No... Tomorrow is a book report from joe paternos wife... Anyone with a pulse knows what it is going to say.
Haha.....how did I know you would say this
i didnt think of that.. ive done a 180, youre 100% right...
the whole country beside PSU and You understand crap when we smell it.
We could argue this all night... No one is going to change their position at this point.
I'm going to the Buckeye-iu basketball game tomorrow... I gotta get up early.
I truly appreciate respectful debate.
And now he's one of 2012's "Men of the year." If you don't think nailing PSU got him that distinction and gives him much better job prospects going forward, then we will have to agree to disagree.
Louis Freeh was the man we needed to prove what no one wanted to believe about Jerry Sandusky, Penn State, or Joe Paterno
What about the ex FBI agent that came out and said Freeh covered up multiple things including forensic evidence?
He's a hero! [love]
