I was really hoping he would stay. Be like Shockley
I wonder if the Virginia Tech and Virginia fans still stand by that he is better than EJ.
Bama was always a bad fit for him.
Watching him and McCarron it was easy to see AJ was never gonna get passed by Sims. AJ is way better. Sims might turn out ok, but he would never had started over AJ
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
I guess Shane thinks Yeldon will flip to Bama after he enrolls at Auburn. Brilliant. Sell those subscriptions, BOL.” - TIGER
Haha people hate the truth
Bama was not a bad fit for Sims- he's a pro style passer.
He just couldn't pass McCarron, not his fault.
I for one appreciate that he came in and tried hard. He pushed McCarron and was a solid backup last year.
This year we'll have Ely and Morris pushing each other for #2, while we hopefully land en elite QB for this class.
Anyone who has ever followed Sims knows one thing. He's a homesick, whiny kid. As soon as he got at Alabama, he wanted to be home. Not sure why he committed to begin with. He's also not very good. He's not accurate at all and his arm strength has never looked as good as recruiting experts advertised.
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
He never impressed me.
No, He's serious

will be a good parting of ways for both parties
I'm dead serious. I've heard things about him since his Very first year and he's rubbed me the wrong way. He's not very committed to the cause so to speak. Whether that is because he wanted to be in Virginia with his family or not, I dont know. I'm glad he's gone. Makes our depth chart look better to players who actually have a commitment to the University.
I wasn't concerned with that. I just wanted him to be a functional player at a position of leadership and importance. Didn't happen.
True. That's always a first sign of sucking and being not smart.
He's going to UVA...so I don't like him...but I'll say he still gets an incomplete and can still pass EJ but obviously EJ is winning this one. He was a hell of a lot better than EJ in HS...and yes I watch both play
I said Glennon was the better prospect than EJ, then, and now. That isn't a slight on EJ, Glennon can sling it.
The black QB, correct?
Logan Thomas will not be a qb in the NFL so how is he the better pro prospect other than you being a Homer. For one he is not a very good passer and he has a run first mentality. Plus named the qbs besides vick from va tech who has done anything in the league.
There it is....
Oh I remember
LT was named by several of the hair do's as the QB that could be picked ahead of Barkley. The kid as started for 1 year, his numbers: 60% 19TDs 10 ints 3000 yards. I won't even bring up the rushing TD's and first downs because that will go away in the NFL...The NFL also likes 6'7 250 LBs and athletic with a big arm, Smart he's graduating in 3 years and entering Masters classes...and he tweets about golf.
