I will do a big blowout on Monday for ND-Alabama.
Sorry to have swung and missed so badly on A&M. I think they may start engraving the next 2 or 3 Heismans and send them to College Station after that performance. Wow.
OK, today, 2 games
BBVA Compass Bowl: Pittsburgh (6-6) vs. Mississippi (6-6, -3 1/2). 1 p.m. (ESPN) -- Two 6-6 teams that had to win at the end to get into bowls. Ole Miss upset Mississippi State 41-24 to qualify, while Pitt won its last two games to get to a bowl for the third year in a row. Two steady QBs with Pitt's Tino Sunseri (no INTs since Sept.) and Mississippi's Bo Wallace (5 TDs vs. MSU). Mississippi 31-24
GoDaddy.com Bowl: Arkansas State (9-3, -3 1/2) vs. Kent State (11-2), 9 p.m. (ESPN) -- Two programs losing their coaches with Gus Malzahn headed to Arkansas State and Darrell Hazell off to Purdue. Kent 0-2 all-time in bowls. I am marking out for the Ohio team here and my friend Hazell. Kent State 30-22
Back Monday with BCS national title game.
I'm gonna take Pitt (how about the Big East's bowl record over the last five years??? They've always gotten BLASTED for stinking as a conference, but WOW they're impressive with the number of wins. Is it the competition they get lined up against??? ) in a close one, 24-20.
I take Kent State 37-24 over Arky State...
He's actually heading to Auburn... No worries I understand you are still reeling from the A&M smack down.
