For Bama I don't think it's much of a debate. Most of us kind of shook our heads when we accepted a commitment from Vinnie Sunseri. Hell, most of us wondered if he was even getting an athletic scholarship or if he was getting a scholarship from the university because his father was a university employee.
Well I guess Saban knows what he is doing, because this kid is just a straight up football player. Anyway, who you got for your school?
RB Mark Weisman. At the start of camp, he was a second string full back. In the last 10 quarters of action, he has rushed for over 500 yards as the #1 tailback.
Auburn : Have to shout out the OL, they have played better than expected
Individual Player: Dee Ford
"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
David Ash. Next great Texas QB.
He has looked really poised so far this year.. That game winning drive against
Okie State showed it.
Morgan Breslin. JC transfer DE.
So much this.
XoGisele, Ashley Sky, Niki Skyler
Allen Robinson, every psu poster thought we offered the kid just to keep our you qb (current lsu tiger) rob bolden happy. Kid is our best offensive playmaker by far
“If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.” ― Haruki Murakami
Thats my pick to
Lavar Edwards.. Been better or right on par with Montgomery/Mingo at the DE position.
Kevin Minter.. Really, really came on last season and is the best LBer we've had at LSU in a vey long time to be frank.

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Jalen Mills had to exceed expectations. Who would have thought a true freshman CB that wasn't highly rated would come in and start from day one? Kid has been doing pretty well in my opinion.
I guess Todd Gurley.
Yeah for sure.. He hasn't had a TD caught on him yet, he has a few INTS and makes good tackles. The kid can really cover and you would be hard pressed for find if he's been beat by anyone all season so far.
Morris Claiborne, Tyrann Mathieu.. Guys like that who weren't ranked high have ended up being absolute studs for us, love the development that Chavis has on these players, it's impressive.
Devin Funchess. We got him last year as a 3* receiving TE, but the expectation was that he'd need some time in the weight room before he was ready for the college game. Instead, we've ended up with a 6'5" matchup nightmare with the hands of a WR. He's big, fast, and his blocking gets better by the day. He's already got a solid 230 on his frame, and he looks like he'll probably be able to add another 15-20 pounds to that when it's all said and done. He'll be a consistent redzone target for the next 4 years, and he already looks like he'll give Michigan the type of TE receiving threat that they haven't had since Bennie Joppru.
Meh, he's ok.
Kid is a complete 180 from the 2011 regular season
Rajion Neal, Corey miller
Butch Jones. Who???
nick waisome has filled in well at starting corner since reid got the boot.
cornellius carradine - i knew he was a good player from watching him last year but he has exploded ever since brandon jenkins went down. starting to remind me a little of pierre paul in college. guy comes from JUCO with low fanfare and starts destroying people. if he keeps up this pace hes going to be a first rounder
EJ Manuel - EJ looks much much better this year than last. he isnt making dumb decisions and is throwing the ball very well and actually making good check at the line unlike last year
FSU Ambassador to the masses
Hard to argue against this. Others have played better than expected, Ryan, Washington, Taylor, Ross, Bolden, Gardner... But Funchess has been outstanding for a true freshman TE.
He scares me more than Burkhead does.
Rex is good but Abdullah is better IMO. Our best back is 3rd string though
hard not to think this right now. teams are going to keep putting 8 in the box and daring him to beat them, and i think he can do it.
i'll add another for texas: mike davis. really impressed w/ his ability to go win the ball vs a db and he damn near killed someone on a block last night.
Who is 3rd?
I have you guys winning the division. Going into EL and beating MSU and beating Michigan in the night game at home. I also fully expect a whooping to be put on NW after last year also.
As CMXI said, Devin Funchess has been great for Michigan so far, but I'm going to go with Dennis Norfleet. We all knew he was supposed to be good on kick returns, but he has shown he has no fear when he takes returns and he could break all of the return records at Michigan if he keeps going the way he has.
Braylon Heard. He is the most gifted back with burner speed. He played DB last year so he's learning the running back position again
