Draft Eddie Lacy. I'm a Niners homer so this would be a pick that obviously i'd love. Makes sense though. Gore has a lot of miles on him.

Lacy is going to be a bust. No way close to as good as Gore
You're a biased Bammer
I wouldn't complain about this pick. But I think we have other needs
XoGisele, Ashley Sky, Niki Skyler
I do t believe Lacy will be a bust. I also didn't say he's better than Gore. Just think Gore has about 2 more good years so lacy could fill that role.
Yeah. Probably should've taken Rex Burkhead. Derp.
Uh...not really funny. Never said Rex was better than Eddie. Derp.
They should just wait on Jeremy Hill or Yeldon.. Both whom are going to be better than Lacy, IMO
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I see them taking Woods then taking Bell or possibly even using an extra pick on Lattimore. They need a WR more than a RB.
Totally agree. Although I don't like Woods as much as others. USC receivers don't pan out as often. In a mock draft I traded up to 13 to get Austin
For a while I actually thought they might have traded up for Austin...
Not so bullish on Woods either. Probably because he was so overshadowed by Lee and the 9ers don't have a great history with using high draft picks on receivers (or safeties). But he can ball. They could possibly take Lacy and then Allen
Drafts, especially for the 49ers, always seem to work out better when they are picking for the future rather than out of immediate need. Why Reid worries me a bit.
TBH I would rather they draft either a NT (two left in free agency) or a DE to be a backup/replacement in the future for Justin Smith (the pass rush fell off a cliff with him injured). Loved the Reid pick though as a replacement for Goldson.
My guess based on if they are going DL at 34 will either be Margus Hunt or John Jenkins

"Isn't it amazing what somebody will do when he can't bunt." - Vin Scully
Agreed...but Henry will be the Beast of them all.
Harbaugh was the only coach besides miles to try and recruit Reid the entire time. Reid only visited LSU and didn't even take a visit to another college, so teams stop recruiting him except Harbaugh.. Reid is also a 4.0 student so he could've gone to Stanford
Yea I saw a funny headline titled: "This time Reid has no choice" referencing what you are talking about. Can't wait to see him in a Niners uniform.
Me too. He's a big hitter and that's exactly what Harbaugh wants to replace Gholston, who is one of the biggest hitters in the NFL.
Reid is a great tackler and decent in coverage. Should be a great pickup for us unless someone really screws up his development.
Yep and the Niners run a lot of zone schemes and based on reading around draft stuff Vaccaro was the best safety for more man to man coverage, whereas Reid was the best for zone coverage.
I would like Jenkins
Yeah.. Plus, Reid is 6'2 with a 40'' vert.. Also broke the record for longest long jump ever in the combine.
I bet they draft that TE from Stanford. Lost Walker and need another TE to go with Davis.
I'm a niner fan and was happy to see Reid taken but so pissed because Kiper or McShay had them drafting Elam with the 31st pick. Would have been awesome to see my favorite player on my favorite team. Anyways still like the pick, my roommate is from Lafayette and big LSU fan so I've watched him play a lot kid is a stud.
Ertz, moore, or that man child from SMU
I would be fine with it. I assume you are referring to Ertz?
SF would be a good landing spot for Lattimore. He could sit behind Gore who could mentor him for obvious reasons and get healthy.
