Found this news report. Notice it did not become breaking news on CNN and was hardly mentioned other places. This is how the media lies by omission. Our new...
at work and cant watch...So the shooter was stopped by someone with a concealed weapons permit?
Its got a lot of grey area to it. He drew his Glock 22 and noticed that he didnt have a clear shot. The gunman saw him and the gunmans next shot was one to his own head. The Gunman had an AR and was only able to kill 2 people.
Killing two in a mall in Dec is pretty poor in the scale of rampage killers
Especially with an AR and 30 round mag.
Florida loves concealed weapons permits. In my County 1 in 15 people have CCW's.
How safe is your county ?
I live 1 county northwest of Orange County Fl aka Orlando We have prob 10 to 15 homicides a year.
1 last week
1 armed robbery last week
1 school threat today smh

So it's not that safe....
I know twice within 12 hours in Cincinnati armed robberies were stopped by CCW holders in the past month. In one case the CCW holder injured 3 of them and killed the last.
It is safe. Me and my Sig say so
The shooter was not stopped by the man with a Glock. It's plainly false to say he did. The man pulled the Glock and decided not to fire. The shooter did not eat his gun right there, as he was found in a service hallway.
The shooter fired a lot of shots but only hit three people, probably because it wasn't his gun (he took it from a friend's house) and had never even fired it before and it also jammed at some point.
Here's an article about the man without an obvious political point to make:
I think it's a good example of a person who isn't just an internet tough guy acknowledging the reality of how incredibly difficult and complicated it is to use a weapon in public.

E hard guy here. Would straight up hide my family. I wouldn't go looking for a fight with an AR with only a pistol.
No such thing as a dead hero. nato rounds don't get stopped easily.
