I had one of those growing up. Dog was great. Had no purpose. In the middle of the night dog would gag. It would take me 2 sec to hit the lights. Name was Gus.

i know the pain..my family had a house dog when i was in high school and it got ran over..we had him for like 3 years and it about killed my mom
Mine did that whenever I gave it rawhide. Can't digest it
Had the same with my Bull Staffs and Pits. I think it's just that they use it as a playtoy to get the other dogs chasing them but they also have a tendency to swallow about the last three inches on a rawhide now. They do that and it's not a fun week when it comes to their bowels. Now I only buy the thick Nylabone rubber bones and they can't do the same with those and still have the fun. When your dog is a certain size (especially a strong jawed dog), rawhide is dangerous as hell.
Here's my black dog.
what tricks can he do?
I had the best dog of my life jump out of the window going down the interstate at 80 mph. I was fvcking stunned and not right for months. This dog would not leave my ankle when walking and was panting her ass off when we were taking her to her first yearly vet visit. I still don't know what made her jump but I let the window down half the way down to let her get air. I was devastated. It's weird but I seem to care more about dogs than I do people. I would never punch a dog in the face.
He says "Yo dog" with the best of them IMHO.
Great Dane, Zoey.
I love Great Danes and like the off colored one's better than I do the Harlequins. True gentle giants and don't need as much exercise as you would think. I have a buddy that breeds them and I love them. Every time I go to his house this dog will sit his ass on the couch and stand with his arms on the floor at the same time. Great and I mean GREAT dogs.
