Who do you want to see at their current program for a long time?
I'm a Miami fan and I want Golden for life. Dude is a stud.
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
I really like Golden as well. For Miami's sake, I hope the stay patient and give him plenty of time and plenty of reasons not to go elsewhere. He is ina situation not completely unlike BOB at Penn St. Great job and little expectations in the near future. He really just needs to have a couple of years that are good enough to keep recruits interested and they could get something going.
The problem will be keeping him once and if he gets there.
Personally, I would like to see Mack Brown get a lifetime gig at Texas as well.
I agree Al and BOB have to deal w/ a complete chit storm and are still pulling in top recruits
Little expectations ? lol, you should read a Miami board sometime
You know most fans are not realistic.
Gonna be rough, but I think he'll get through it....
Mark Richt. One day UGA is going to get an actual coach in there and we are going to have to deal with that juggernaut. LSU with Miles as well.
Lane Kiffen, Steve Sarkishen
LSU with Miles is a definite. I look forward to him being there a long time. If DiNardo would have followed Saban, he would have equal results, IMO.
I don't see things the same way with UGA though. I think Richt is getting everything he can out of that program, honestly. Even with Georgia being a recruiting hotbed, it is more like Florida with so many other programs pulling the talent out of there and with so many transients in the Atlanta area, they aren't as set in staying home as players in some states.
Definitely Freeze at Ole Miss. Good start on building a strong program and well liked by players and fanbase.
Derek Dooley at Tennessee
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
Ferentz at Iowa.
Mack at Texas. They could be amazing with an actual coaching staff
For other teams? Jimbo at FSU, Kiffin at USC, Hoke at Michigan, Meyer at OSU (simply because a lifetime contract would mean his heart attack in year 3 would finish him).
I also hope (know) we'll let Spurrier stay as long as he wants.
Dunno why you guys all say this. Guy has sent LSU to two NC and won one. He has a better record at LSU than probably any other coach in history at LSU. It's not like they were some huge juggernaut in the past.
you hope a coach you haven't beat stays at FSU forever ?
Yes....(hint: you guys play Clemson every year)
Be careful what you wish for
Chizik at Auburn... dude can coach
w/out a doubt.......dabo squirtey
Well, once Auburn finds a good coach, it will be easier for you to realize that elite programs with an idiot for a coach makes things much easier.
I forgive you though as your last and current coaches fit into that category or are close to it. If you'd of hired Petrino, you would understand much sooner.
I would hate to think of LSU if Saban was still there.
In retrospect, I would go with Rich Rodriguez at m*chigan. Lotsa lol's from that guy.
