Tell me about your DT's
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Think that O-lineman from Miami will qualify?
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
I didnt, i said "some" for goldman.
Mario Edwards and Giorgio Newberry saw PT in plenty of not-garbage time IIRC.
Also, UF vs FSU as far as DE goes...dont count out Dan Hicks. if he returns to old form he'll be the best DE on either team except maybe Fowler who really impressed me last year.

I refuse to name our D-line because it is embarrassing. They will be better than last year but still nothing special.

I gotcha. Is Edwards the one NoVa and fsufsufsufsufsu are always arguing about?
Edwards is going to be 1 of 2 things.
1. a complete stud who is WAY to big to handle at DE but still averagely fast enough. He will throw OT's around at almost 300 lbs while still being as quick as any non-speed rushing specialist.
2. a Mostrously big DE who isnt fast enough to be a real pass rushing threat unless the OT cant handle his bull rush. Still a beast against the run.
Jury's still out IMO.
Either way, he was already a decent DE as a true freshman. He's a freak at DE but he's no Clowney.
I'm just Muhammad qualifies.
For whatever reason NoVa and i always have opposing opinions at DE.
He was on the Tank train and respected Bjoern Werner.
I was on the Bjoern fan club but liked Tank too.
Im not as high on Edwards as those guys are YET. All he showed me last year was that he's got the tools, but that he couldnt disengage from blocks fast enough to be a good pass rusher yet.
Strong as a bull and mildly fast though.
I hadn't heard anything about it. I never heard he was a risk...
I've been into baseball season for a while now. Screw recruiting.

I must say I agree with NoVa that Tank is better. The biggest knock I've seen scouts talk about against Werner is the Miami game last year though.
Well now you've been informed. He is a risk. Lol
DE - Deion Barnes, RS So.
DT - DaQuan Jones, Sr.
DT - Austin Johnson, RS Fr.
DE - Anthony Zettel, RS So.
Right now, the last two are the only ones up for debate. Barnes was Big Ten Defensive Freshman of the Year or something, had 6 sacks as a part-time player last season.
Im super pissed you guys flipped Fowler though.
Fowler, to me, is Dan Hicks with more talent/potential. And Dan Hicks is a guy who was pushing our big 3 DE's last year for PT 2 years ago when he wasnt a TE (still hate that they moved him).
Had FSU signed Fowler...Edwards/Casher/Fowler would be Werner/Jenkins/Carradine but better IMO.
Can't wait for the LB thread...
I teeter-tottered for a while...almost changed teams. It depends on what you want.
Werner isnt the freak Carradine is, but he's so sound. Hes a guy who's gonna bat down balls, play disciplined against the run, generate a solid pass rush against some but get stone walled against certain OT's. He's a guy you wont see make a lot of mistakes.
Carradine is just a freak. He's like Clowney but not quite on that level.
Listed the four i did to flaunt their 5*and rankings
Its probably going to look like this
I still think Hicks is going to be a stud once he gets back out there at DE some.
Easley, Orr, Jacobs, Cummings, Bostwick, Ivie and Brantley.. Some young guys, and some with experience. Easley being the smallest at 6'2'' 290, but his quickness makes up for the size. Solid group, not the star power of our DEs but solid none the less
Who is supposed to be the best 5 or 6 DL's this year?
I assume FSU, UF, LSU...who else? SCar? Bama?
And Jarran Reed
Can't see him being 100% yet..
Not enough stars, IMO.
Nebraska's DL is very unpredictable at this point.
DE Randy Gregory high 4* JUCO
DT Vincent Valentine RS FR 3*
DT Aaron Curry RS FR 3*
DE Jason Ankrah RS SR 4*
Forgot about him, so were 8 deep at DT... Not too shabby
