WRs are a dime a dozen in Petrinos offense
There question has only been on the defensive side of the ball not offense
But lets focus on Auburn and you still wont give me an answer. Who is your QB going to be? Who is going to block for you? Who will be your workhorse?
Frazier. Leffy recruited KF to FLA when he was the Qb coach there.
A freshman AA center, and four huge youngens with MEAN streaks.
Mason-looks and runs just like dyer. Not as strong but more explosive.
Everyone doubting the OC is just dumb. Doing what he did at Temple is more than impressive. He developes QB's better than anyone in college football. They only have one decent QB on their roster and his hand was broken for 6 games. Before you say KF sucks, remember, he has a gun and the ability to make plays on the ground if the play breaks down. He has excellent potential as a passer... our OC wasn't the first target but after thinking about it for a while... he was the perfect hire.
I mean I know what yall are playing with and it was a rhetorical question for him.
He thinks you're on par with Arkansas and I dont think thats true in the slightest
Frazier is inexperienced as are your RBs with the exception of McCaleb
I think any reasonable Auburn fan would be happy with a 8-9 win season next year because you guys are still very young
Except we can't say we're young. That's not a good excuse anymore because we were young this year.
Do I think we could beat Arkansas? Yes.
Do I think Arkansas is better than us? Yes.
After a major knee injury, most RB's just aren't the same. To be honest Kniles Davis capitalized off of Ryan Mallet. Teams had to play Dime and Nickel packages to stop the pass, so defenses were out numbered in the front 7.
I think every team can be beaten
But I agree with you on Davis. People prepared for the pass and focused on Mallett
However, its going to be the same with Wilson next year
Without any research
MSU(A)- Toss Up
aTm(H)- Toss Up
Alabama A&M(HC)- W
4. TAMU (GIGS)
6. Miss st
7. Ole Miss
- Honestly, Offensively we should be near the Top of the SEC statistically, the D cannot pass protect, but the run D was solid this year (Might be due to the Pass-Happy offenses, but still.) I am by no means saying we will win 9 games, but I think we could be better than people think and pleasantly surprise some people. I say we win 7, MAYBE 8, ONLY if Sumlin can get us to execute and play mistake free football. The talent is there, we just need a coach that can light a fire under their ass and get this damn Sherman mindset out of the program! Just my 2 cents on A&M football.
Still don't think he'll be the same.
I really think LSU is overrated this coming year.
Texas AM lost a lot of players last year, plus the were worse than we were... why are people thinking they are gonna be decent?
Again without research but best case scenario for yall would be 9-3, 8-4.
Worst case 5-7
but I can see a 7-5 or 8-4 record
We didn't lose as much as people think, our O will be good, Sherman is the reason we sucked last season, he ran the same 3 plays over and over again it was dreadful.
I think they finish 5th in the West
LSU will be solid and may I remind you about the last time you thought a RB was overrated...
Idk about the Clemson game.
About the new system- People are thinking we're like UF. Our personnel was built for a downhill running game and mix in a little side to side. The blocking schemes will be different, but that's about all. Plus, he hasn't even said if he's going pro, he could stick with the spread. He did that at Temple in the bowl game... it looked like an audition for us to be honest.
yea looking at it now I could say thats a toss up as well but i just did your schedule quick without research
You lost a QB... toughest defensive conference in the nation is gonna be rough bro.
How many lettermen did you lose? It seems like a lot.
They scored late to make it look worse, but they didn't blow us out. Idk, you know I am 95% honest about AU... I just have a good feeling about the hires and this season. I think we could finish third and retake our spot in the big 3... Arkansas lost a few great players on D and the DO NOT recruit well.
Yea but they have this little habit of turning 3 stars into good players and Petrino always has a good offense
And if yall get good again then it will be the big 4. I dont see the big 3 going anywhere right now and while we may take a step back on D, our offense should be solid next year
HAHAHAHA Fuller was not our best WR, and Christine mIchael is coming back, started over Gray before he got hurt, and at QB we should be fine based on what ive seen and heard, Jameil Showers throws a rope. And we have 15 starters returning. Please at least watch Aggie football before you act like you know what youre talking about.
You dont know how a new coach will translate and arent yall changing offenses?
Yes, we are and Sumlin has been great so far, recruiting wise anyway. Our Offensive unit should adapt well, its going to be an air raid, but with more running plays (Our Backfield is LOADED.) We have Swope returning who was great (FAR better than Fuller.) I look for Thomas Johnson to contribute next year as well, and Jaeil Showers is a really good QB the guy has an absolute Cannon.
hows the defense looking?
I do. This is not the big 12 anymore. We play defense here and I promise you its more physical. You weren't very good last year, you are bringing in a new QB and a new backfield.
It's not gonna be pretty.
D looks meh.
might want to shore that up
like pain said this is a different brand of football then what your used to in the big 12
