I got to watch Driskel in HS a few times, the teams he was on was hot garbage but he shined. The issue was it was one read and pass or TE dumps with no read. I think he really would have benefited from a RS because he had some bad habits he didn't to break going into college. Hell what am I saying, every QB should RS.

Essentially he kind of did. Played 2 games then got hurt. The worst thing that happened was Driskel getting hurt against Alabama. If that wasn't the case, Brissett could have taken the redshirt. Instead we got a QB controversy in 2012 and no backup for 2013.
