Great signing IMO.
Harbaugh is the type of guy who can easily handle Moss' ego.
Moss really wants a super bowl ring...
It is a GREAT signing and Moss doesn't have the opportunity to be a pre-madonna anymore. If they somehow manage to get Manning the 49'rs will be in the Superbowl IYAM.
Is Harbaugh going to keep throwing him passes? That's the only way I'd be scared of him.
Crabtree is coming in to his own as well and it seems like Alex Smith, barring they don't sign Manning (doubtful at best), seems to be coming into his. They have a real good defense, OL and running game. They are close.
Unbelievable signing, however who is going to throw him the ball? Alex Smith still hasn't signed...anyone hear anything?
Check Bleacher Report.
I would rather check the sweat on my balls. It's about as informed as that site is.
could be a great fit and as someone mentioned Harbaugh wont allow any BS on his team
Is Randy Moss even good anymore?
He is when he wants to be. He is the most athletically gifted WR to ever play the game.
maybe years ago at this point he doesnt have elite talents anymore but i do think he will be a good addition to the 49's

We will find out in a few months when training camp starts.
gotta be exciting for him to play for a team that is going to be in the hunt for the Superbowl this coming year
Hmm, I'd argue Terrel Owens is. Moss is up there though. I just think that guy aged a lot, not sure he can be as athletic or as effective as he used to be. Agree with the poster that said "we'll find out". It's an interesting aquisition none the less.
Reports are that he has looked very good in his workouts.
Like duval and you pointed out, no one knows.
I think he will be good though.
Did some youtube searching, this is a weird video.
Full Story!: http://www.tmz.com/2010/06/16/terrell-owens-video-vertical-jump-newspaper-stand-nfl-football-hollywood/ Terrell Owens still doesn't have a job -- but last night in Hollywood, the NFL star proved his legs are still strong as hell ... by busting out a MONSTER no-step jump onto a newspaper stand!!!!
I see Owens still loves the media attention
Terrell Owens doens't have Moss' athlethic ability and it's not even close. I think Owens is top ten in the league's history but he has nothing on Moss.
The only thing Terrell has on moss is route running and he is stronger
Yeah, and pretty much hurt his career/legacy. I just watched a high light reel of that guy's plays....what a freak of nature. If he could of kept his ego in check he could of been so much more.
The guy's speed, spin moves and foot work are unreal. IMO he's a better athlete/receiver than moss. Early on Moss' leaping ability was unreal for the jump ball catch but I'm sticking with Terrell.

The sad thing is that they were tutored by two of the best to ever play the game. Yet instead of learning from their examples, they "wasted" their talents with stupid antics.
I say wasted yet they both had great careers.
I doubt his ability to play after the layoff. He was showing some serious signs of slowing down prior to that.
if you really sit back and think about it, he actually becomes very valuable to the 9ers...
harbaugh is smart enough to handle him right, and this will present some new problems for defenses.
for one, davis and crabtree are prime for doubles, and this would essentially open up drags all day for a good # 2 reciever, or # 3 option (including davis) which moss will most likely be. add to that Josh Morgan, and you almost NEED a smaller guy for slides and digs, and especially to stretch the safeties on some go routes.
really, you cannot afford to not cover moss deep, and with him inside of Crabtree, it almost FORCES you to choose

Randy Moss ran back to back 4.34's last week.
as long as hes good in his head, he will be a damn good pickup
