Everitt Withers is every bit as good as Mattison IMO
Withers is great but Mattisons track record speaks for its self. Urban even called him the best.
Did you miss the game?
26-21 is what happened on the field.
I never said you were supposed to do anything? I'm just clearing up to the OSU fan that you did flip recruits in 2012 after he said you didn't flip any from PSU. I made it clear that if it's a reference to this season, then no, none were flipped. But if it was a reference to 2012, then yes 4 were flipped and Spence could easily be called a fifth.
Not sure why that upsets you. I'm stating a fact to help clear up confusion.
Mattison is the glue cause this dude made me actually question if I felt dumber for watching him, I stopped at half
Full video of Michigan head coach Brady Hokes signing day press conference.
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Oh your facts are right, I forgot Williams but remembered the others. The funny part for me is how yall count Spence. He was NEVER committed to PSU. He's usually the first one PSU fans bring up, never understood it.
Feb 6, 2013 Update:
2012 Hoke 7, Urban 4
2013 Hoke 5, Urban 2
Don't get me wrong, Hoke is doing a hell of a job up north. In fact, you can count me among the Buckeye fans who is glad to see Hoke reviving the program that RichRod augured into the ground.
However, Hoke has a long way to go to prove that he is even on par with Urban in terms of recruiting.
I have a great deal of respect for a man who took the disaster that RichRod left you all with and went to a BCS Bowl. Unfortunately, recruiting doesn't tell the whole story. We have to see how well each coach's staff develops players.
Charlie Cheeseburger could recruit damn near any coach under the table, but once those guys got to Notre Dame, they didn't seem to develop much.
I can't listen to him. I feel dumber every time I hear him speak.
He was the last one I mentioned for a reason. But, he was coming to PSU pre-Sandusky. Every analyst would agree with me. It's a moot point, and really had nothing to do with me telling him that OSU did flip players. Take him out and they still flipped 4 PSU guys thanks to the Sandusky situation. It's unfortunate for us. I don't blame OSU one bit. When things go down at other schools I expect our coaches to go after their players. It's how the game is played and it's how you win. Urbs is very good at it, good for him and OSU.

As much as I hate it, Bob is a good one. There are not many coaches that could have done what he has been able to do under the same circumstances. Not many coaches would have even stayed after the sanctions came down.
It would be interesting to see how well he could have recruited with a level playing field. I laughed when Penn State announced him as the new head coach. Now I think it was either pure genius or blind luck.
Well, there were two guys running the search. With one of them I'd say pure genius, but with the other I'd say complete blind luck.
OMG. So painful to watch. I feel like I'm watching it in slow motion.
Um .. you know uhh ... yeah ... uh ... great class ... uh and um uh ... Shane Morris is ... uhhh ... ummm ... the best ... uhhh .. umm
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
Misunderstanding... I was under the assumption that we were talking about this years recruiting... lol.. not sure why I would be thinking that ;)
Ira had to have been the mind behind it. Joyner was merely along for the ride.
I'm pretty sure that the Polish Rifle also had a big part in this.
It should be painly obvious who is the best recruiter in the B1G now more than before...
Yes BoB, and Hoke are pretty good. But IMO next year will make or break both coaches, especially BoB... Lets see who he can get to commit rather than stay committed,
Hoke has proven he's got the sales pitch and can land lineman for his scheme.. he just has to land playmakers.
As far as flip's OSU has been on the losing and winning side of this situation in the last few years, more so on the winning, but kids did flip before Urb was hired (Kalis, as much of a douche bag he is, he was committed if I remember right.)

I agree. Any person who says anything other than Urbs at this point is thinking pretty irrationally IMO.
Is that the pre-determined result for every game going forward?
Based on what we have seen...
4) everyone else
I think that BOB could be #2, but we really have no idea what he would do without sanctions. We got a glimpse with the hot start he had to this class before the sanctions. But Hoke started out hot as well, so I really can't tell you one way or the other. I will just say that I think a three can recruit well enough to win the Big Ten and make some noise on the national stage.
Wow that is stupid on so many levels.
The guy who still reps the 409 badge talking about someone else being stupid
Take out Hoke and insert Mattison.
Hokey is just a boring speaker who stands on the sidelines without a headset like a complete buffoon.
We obviously won't have a big class, but our star rating will still be top 20. We'll land a nice haul as long as the shit doesn't hit the fan for the 3rd straight year.
Yes I'm stupid because Joe won 409 games, and some douche hat tried to take that away.
"Some douche tried to take that away". If you mean JoePa turned a blind eye to child rape, then yes you are correct.
