Gurley had a better season with an inferior OL
If Alfred Blue(sp) is healthy he jumps way up this list, IMO.
with all of this.
Great point about LSU's line. Pretty sure they ended up having a TF start at RT and a RSFR starting at RG midway through the season.
Bump for arrest..
Which one got arrested?
Well stated. Bama's offensive line is why Lacy was slightly overrated as well as Bama as a team averaged 4.2 yards per carry "before contact" last season. You have to factor OLine in when evaluating RBs.
1. Gurley: best athlete of the bunch. U.S. Youth National Champ in the 110m hurdles in 2011 and represented the U.S. at the World Games. Finished 5th at Youth Nationals in the 100m dash, a race won by his teammate Warren "Keith" Marshall. Ronald Darby was 2nd. Gurley has lost a little of his speed as I heard he played last season at 230 pounds.
2. Yeldon: I will have a better idea of how good he is in 2013 as last year he ran behind a OLine with more 1st Round Draft picks than essentially every NFL team. Haven't thoroughly researched NFL OLines but I don't think anyone has more than 3 1st Round starters.
3. Hill: he needs to keep his nose clean as he could have a great future in the NFL. Very similar RB to Gurley.

Mid 1990s Nebraska was comparable as run blockers.
Looks like you might need to exclude Hill from this list.
