Have you heard of any happening close to where you live? I have heard stories of one that happened in a church about 5 minutes from where I grew up 25 years ago. I am not sure what I believe but it is scary hearing stories from trust worthy people you have known your entire life.
It was an alien.
In before this becomes a religious vs non-religious debate.
I know very little about exorcisms but that would freak the heck out of me.
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Just a bunch of mumbo jumbo
No this is no mumbo jumbo it really happened. I almost did not believe it when they told me but this comes from people I trust. Now whether or not the girl was truly possessed by a demon or had some kind of mental illness I really do not know.
I believe that they can def happen. The last thing that i would want to happen would to be possessed.
I was named after the priest in "The Exorcist." True story.
I had a feeling I'd see you here.
I am always around threads like these lol
I'm not as big on the demonic side of this as you are, but just the unexplainable alone sucks me in. I've seen some creepy stuff, but nothing like an exorcism.
I want to see an exorcism, no joke. There is something strangely interesting to me about a priest using the power of Christ to vanquish the devil.
Not gonna lie, if I could ever be like one character off of a movie it would be like John Constantine(Although more religious than he is)
What have you seen?
I like Constantine too. Not sure where all of you Bama fans are from but it happened in Falkville, Alabama which is a hole. I live in Hartselle now which is just 10 minutes from where it happened.
Come on man, spit it out. What is this creepy stuff?
About where is that to Huntsville, or B-Ham? I am from Gadsden(60 minutes from B-Ham)
they are very real, especially in pentecostal (sp) churches. they cast demons out and speak in tounges! its real!
We use to set up video and digital voice recorders in old homes all the time for the hell of it. We have several antebellum homes in my area and the voices we've caught on evp were enough to make your skin cringe. I've seen shadows appears in the middle of hallways for upwards of 60 seconds and simply fade away. Objects moving and doors closing were the most common finds we came across.
Something else I should have mentioned.
We were very smart about how we did things as well. For example, when setting up our voice recorders we would always spend several minutes speaking and moving objects like doors etc so we would have something to compare our fIndings too. Plus you want to know how sensitive the noises are based on your location so we would actually call out what room we were in and what we were doing or moving. Then we would leave for the night. Also, we ALWAYS set up an outdoor camera at the corner of the property to make sure if we did hear voices that it wasn't because of outside interference. Myself and two others did this quite often, was actually quite fun and I could see the attraction for someone wanting to do it full-time.

When i was a kid, we just tried to find women that would let us have sex with them.
It is between Huntsville and Birmingham. It is about 30 minutes from Huntsville and a hour from Birmingham.
Oh ok, good deal.
