Our schedule is a joke. That said with what we are returning we have a real chance to win it all again. If we beat a&m there is still a real chance the team goes on auto pilot the rest of the way and messes up somewhere
Yeah. I mean there was at least some thought that went into it
McCarron stays healthy and they win it again most likely. Folks are too quickly forgetting most of TAMU's roster signed with a middle of the road Big 12 program out of high school, they were that level recruit.
Obviously Manziel makes everyone better and they have a good staff but TAMU needs to sign 1-2 more top of the SEC type classes before they can go into a game with Bama with Bama's FULL attention and be able to hang. JMO
Agreed. People have romanticized Johnny Manziel to the point that they've lost sight of the fact that it was a classic letdown game IMO.
don't think it was a let down game
UF and LSU also struggled to stop Manziel early, but found a way to storm back after seeing him for a half or so. It comes down to not being able to duplicate Johnny Football in practice which leaves defenses unprepared going into the game.
Manziel is a damn good QB and will put up great numbers again, but I think the defenses facing him for the second time will have more success stopping him
Agree with most of that, but it most certainly was a letdown game. Alabama was flat as Hell. I was there and we were talking about it before kickoff. Painfully obvious. That's not taking away from Manziel, but Alabama was a much more complete team and would beat A&M 8/10 times last year.
Kinda hard to get up for that game mentally after the way we beat LSU. The physicality and emotion of that game had our players running on empty.
He will get his yards this year, but cj Mosley will be dry humping him all game. Not enough supporting cast for Manziel this year to get it done
Our RB talent is on par with yours. We've upgraded at WR. You know nothing about our team.
No one's is. Real talk.
No. It's not.
Yea that's what I heard last year until we laid out Lacy and Yeldon fumbled at a crucial time.
Alabama is Hell on teams early in the year.
You have superman and a few nice players
Lets not forget you were one of the laughing stocks of the big 12 not long ago
What a difference one year makes
It's better this year. You're playing Alabama in game two coming off a bye. You're also badly misinformed. Nothing will look the same and that's a good thing for Alabama.
Arguably, yes. Forgot them, but A&M isn't close to either.
I'm going to have to disagree. I think Bama's RB depth chart is:
4 star top 100
4 star top 100
4 star top 100.
I don't think It can be matched. By anyone.
to be fair, stars mean jack shit once on campus
fsu has a star average of 4.5 at RB(the same as Bama).. Doesn't mean I think we have one of the best backfields in the country

I said arguably.
Don't want to argue who has better RBs than Alabama because their stable is like the damn Kentucky Derby. BUT, RB is a saturation position. When you compare RB groups you basically have to match up each team's top 3. 4-7 aren't really that relevant.
That Gurley and Marshall tandem doesn't take a backseat to anybody.
