I've seen most episodes of most of these shows and it's getting kinda old. There are only so many ways to shoot a gator and throw it in the boat. I think it would be cool to switch it all up and put the Duck Dynasty crew in Alaska to mine gold. Or put the Moonshiners out hunting gators. What else could be done to make these shows more interesting?
Have something actually happen IMO. I can't watch anymore because nobody has gotten their arm ripped off yet. Kinda hard to keep trying to convince everyone how dangerous all this stuff is and nobody has ever gotten injured. On Shark Men last season, they had a guy almost lose his life twice. Then one guy almost gets his fingers ripped off by a shark. He gets them reattached at port with stitches and there is no ligament damage. I mean, that's what I'm talking about.
If you like shows about people mining and searching for gold, check out the show called Alaska (just Alaska) on the Outdoor Channel. They had a new season last year around the Summer I think . It's actual real stuff where they follow people around the outskirts of Nome (I think) with cameras instead of handing them a script. It's a low rent show, but they do an amazing job.
RETURN THE HISTORY CHANNEL TO ITS FORMER GLORY
Couldn't agree more. I used to love watching the history channel because it actually had shows about history. Or change the name of the channel.
This is what happens when you cater to the lowest common denominator.
The Food Network kinda did this. They not have another channel where a lot of the cooking shows got moved to and its mostly the competition food shows left on the original channel.
I wouldn't mind this. I miss the old history stuff on the History channel.
