That's hilarious. You don't know my views. The problem with people with your views is that you can't accept facts. Like the fact that raising or lowering the top rate has almost no effect on job creation whatsoever. However, lowering the top rate concentrates wealth even more so at the top. That kind of wealth disparity can threaten the entire democracy. You guys live in this dream world where everyone that doesn't make six figures is lazy and a leach. That's simply ridiculous. Most people work hard and want to make it. When you disparage those people, you can't win. Capitalism is demand based, not supply based. There has to be a demand for a product or service for it to sell, and a greater demand for it to sell more so that new jobs are created. The more people that do well the better we all do.
Having said that, I think we should cut corporate taxes, but that is a global competitiveness issue. Not a cutting taxes leads to jobs, which is and always has been bullshit.
I'm glad you got that out. Really put me in my conservative place. Thank you for always being right. If I have any other opinions on life, government or religion I'll be sure to run it by you to verify those liberal bullets you just made. Clinton lowered taxes. Bush lowered taxes. Federal Revenue went up. More than anytime in history % wise. You state that I don't know your views but then you tell me " you people that make 6 figures consider everyone lazy and a leach that doesn't". Do you not see the hypocrisy in your post? I think a large portion of this country are lazy and are leaches. The numbers tell me it's true but if you're a hardworking, single mother who makes 25,000 a year and somehow manages to raise kids on that, I think that's heroic an amazing. I don't have a problem with entitlements or assistance. I was raised by a single mother, receiving food stamps, the whole works. Here's the thing....She worked her ass off. She worked 2 jobs and was going to college at 27( federal grant). You think i think she was a leach or lazy? lmfao. Her struggle was the best thing that ever happened to me. I have a problem with the ones who don't try and better themselves. Who collect a paycheck and do nothing more than that. You should too.

I'm no fvcking liberal. I told hold any opinions on your life or religion, I don't give a shit what you do with it. That assumption just shows how far right Republicans have gone. Cutting taxes doesn't lead to higher revenue. That's ridiculous. Clinton raised taxes and balanced the budget.
And I am extremely bothered by the people that actually don't try to make it and are content to get a handout, but those people are an extremely small percentage of the population. There's many more poor people who work hard and want to make it.
When you lambast deficits and then propose huge tax cuts, you're not a serious person.
Talk about an inconvenient truth...
Clinton raised taxes at a wonderful time. America was thriving and the Internet Boom just hit. Then, after the .com boom ended, When the country stalled, he cut taxes and federal revenue went up more than anytime in history. Raising taxes is great when the economy is thriving. It's not great in a recession. That's the exact reason the tax cuts have been extended. If The American economy starts thriving again then I'd be ok with tax increases on every single citizen. There's a reason no President raises taxes in a recession. I'm sure you're aware of that reasoning. I don't see anything in our economy that would indicate another boom is coming like the .com boom. That produced massive influx of money, the majority of it which wasn't real shown by its collapse.
Here's a look at Tax cuts by president, how revenue went up but spending outpaced revenue. Tax cuts aren't terrible. Spending I te other hand.....
MYTH: We can only cut taxes if we cut spending by the same amount; otherwise, tax cuts will reduce revenue and cause deficits.
FACT: Historically tax cuts have always paid for themselves. Federal revenue increased after the JFK tax cuts, after the Reagan tax cuts, after the Clinton tax cuts, and after the Bush tax cuts. The problem has not been taxes. The problem has been runaway spending. Total federal spending has not dropped once in over 40 years—not once:
· Under LBJ revenue grew by 25%, but spending grew by 24%.
· Under Nixon revenue grew by 17%, but spending grew by 21%.
· Under Ford revenue grew by 11%, but spending grew by 22%.
· Under Carter revenue grew by 20%, but spending grew by 13%.
· Under Reagan revenue grew by 15%, but spending grew by 25%.
· Under Bush Sr. revenue grew by 17%, but spending grew by 18%.
· Under Clinton revenue grew by 35%, but spending grew by 9%.
· Under Bush Jr. revenue grew by 10%, but spending grew by 25%.
And just so we're clear. You did "freely" assume that people like me who make 6 figures a year think all people that don't are lazy and leaches. That's a HUGE reach and assumption, no? Do all people that don't make 6 figures assume this about those who do? I know I don't think Obama, who is worth well more than me ,thinks I'm Lazy or a leach.
You're the one that started talking about poor rich whitey so...
Economists say a combination of tax cuts and more spending are needed to stimulate the weak economy.
Republicans come off as hateful elitist. 90% of repubs are white, the party reaches out only to a shrinking base. FoxNews rhetoric does enthuse your base but it turns everyone else off. Sure msnbc is just as bad, but nobody watches/recites it.
To appeal to others they need to be what they say they are, SMALL GOVT. Removing the religion from their legislative process will open them up to a large group. They should rail on the war against drugs and talk about how it disproportionately harms blacks. Quit judging gay people and let god do it.
They have to get in touch and quit acting like everyone is lazy and food stamps is ruining the country. Military spending is a much bigger problem.
If you didn't fight for the country, stop supporting war so much. It's crazy that romney's religion helped him avoid war, yet it wont help him to not send other people's children. People hate that ish.
Agreed. That's a dang joke. But he'd get the "college" vote. Lol. Big deal.
Again, I don't think republicans have a clue about what americans want. Your group is too homogenous for serious, diverse discussion to take hold.
You try to be dem lite and that won't work. You are caught up in thinking that obama wins bc of race and speaking well so u try to imitate. No he wins bc people hate ur bs. You are supposed to be the no nonsense and logical party but you politic too much. If you call dems elitist, start finding ways to not look more elitist than them. You do this by supporting things that support conservatism and appeals to other people.
Vast majority of americans are conservative but won't vote for the supposedly conservative party.
Instead of accusing everyone of voting on race and welfare you should examine your party.
Ron paul would grab a ton of liberal voters too and completely destroy the dem base. He would restructure the parties in a way favorable to repubs.
But you guys are intent on winning by acting super conservative around repubs and moderate around dems.
I don't believe the vast majority of Americans are conservative. They may lean slightly right, but I think it's a pretty centered country.
Republicans do need to drop the race baiting, the religious BS, and the catering to the wealthy. This country needs them to offer real solutions and counterpoints to the other side. Streamlining regulations and incentivizing job creation are two areas they could really lead on going forward. Hopefully they will.

Obamacare isn't going anywhere anytime soon. They need to focus on improving it, not overturning.
Wait? When did I accuse anyone on voting on race and welfare?
Not speaking about you in particular. You = republicans
What message that was out of the ordinary got Obama re-elected? Did he champion gay marriage, legalization of Mary Jane? There's was nothing he ran on that was outside the box. I'm fairly confident that if conservatives run on conservative principles and have a candidate that actually has stuck with them through his voting record, he can win. People don't care about legalization of Drugs or Gay Mariage. They just want to feel free of social injustice. Obama's greatest thing is not campaigning or championing any of that. He hasn't. He's certainly not introduced any bills that would legalize it. It's the fact he didn't campaign against it. It was brilliant.

That's why I said it needs to be improved. It shouldn't put you out of business, if that's what you're implying.
And your fear, isn't based in reality.
Can't wait till January and Bush's tax cut runs out.
Can you point to a single piece of legislation that would indicate that things are "about to change drastically" or that, 20 years down the road, a large majority of the US will be working for the government?
There's no evidence that we are moving in that direction.
Please feel free to explain exactly how Obamacare does what you say it does.
I'm looking forward to this answer.
People need to take Daniel Tosh's approach to social issues:
"This is what I say to the most conservative person that's so terrified of gay marriage becoming legal. Just because the state says it's legal, it's not like God's going to let them into Heaven. So you can still sleep sound every night knowing that goal line defense is up at the pearly gates, going, "You're not getting in here, faggots!"
I'm serious. Walk me through how Obamacare forces you to pay whatever amount you're claiming it forces you to pay. If it's as bad as you say it is, it shouldn't be hard to point to the relevant provisions of the law and walk me through the subsequent calculations.
