Texas not in the running anymore?
"The first focus is getting this knee back right and getting back to playing high school ball," Seals-Jones said. "Right now, it's between Texas A&M and LSU, those two schools. Probably soon I'll have a commitment and sit down and talk with my parents. But really those are the two schools that I'm looking at the most."
Per ESPN Insider
SEALY, Texas -- Many things have changed in Ricky Seals-Jones' world in a little over a week. He went from having an explosive senior season for Seal
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
If he likes an offense that actually has forward passes, he will go to A&M. No offense LSU, but if I was a top flight receiver I wouldn't want to play in that offense.
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
Damn Texas that knee injury really bothering you guys, eh?
As for Texas, Seals-Jones is putting the situation behind him. He said he was surprised to learn that the Longhorns were no longer recruiting him and was informed by his high school coach, Jimmie Mitchell.
Well we have a QB who has been throwing but I get your point.. We can sell the "Pro Style" thing to him though....
And championships, NFL picks, etc..

You should have top notch RB's standing in line though.
That A&M offense should be a WR's dream, all they do is throw the ball. They will never win in the SEC though, so that could be a factor
Knee injury has nothing to do with it and you know it. I'll leave it at that.
Cliffs? I haven't been following his recruitment
Yeah, didn't the Texas coaches give him a time frame to get his mind made up and he didn't comply? That is the story I heard, that and he wants some $$$$$
If he wants money, he came to the right conference. We pay our players well in the SEC
Knee injury had nothing to do with the offer being pulled. Others here will come pooring in with a bunch of BS pretty soon, but all I'll say is that the knee injury played no part in Texas walking away.
Give me something more than that, what is the reason? Money? Agent?
LMAO. Point proven. Not surprising who idiot #1 was. Actually, it is a little surprising. I figured it would've been the maggots midget jock rider, status.
Didn't RSJ walk away from UT when he decommitted?
Ask usmcmagot. He apparently has all the answers. He's a recruiting and SEC guru. He has to know.
I am not saying LSU doesn't produce pro's, just saying that A&M's offense would be a WR dream. They pass the ball 200 times a game to LSU's 15.
If he wants to win a lot and have a better chance in the pros, he goes to LSU
Do your own homework. Check the reports as to who he was listing as the leader up until this latest development.
Buster Davis too.
Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.
He sucked in the NFL but he is still a first rounder produced by LSU.
Attention Private Piles, check his Facebook page and let me know what you see.
He decomitted, we were then still recruiting him. Had him on an unofficial visit I believe and hammered out all the basketball issues and concerns he was supposedly facing. Multiple times he said Texas was leading and that's where he wanted to end up but he wanted to keep his options open because he felt he rushed his original commitment.
The knee injury has nothing to do with it, we have three or four commits who have season ending injuries that are 1 still have an offer and 2 are still committed.
We haven't been told any specifics other than the staff got a bad vibe from the recruitment and felt it was better for everyone to go their separate ways.
Would I like to have him in burnt orange? Hell yes, but if the staff felt something wasn't right and backed out of it then it is what it is. It's happened before and it'll probably happen again. I'm happy with other WR targets we are pursuing.

Of course not. Being an idiot on this site is a full time job for you. How about another teary goodbye thread where you bid adieu?
What about the fact that a Texas booster paid someone off in his circle and when RSJ and some UT people got wind of it, they did whatever they could to separate them self from the situation.
Any comment on that or is the Kool-Aid too good to pass up nowadays?

The story here is that Texas got wind rsj was starting to lean towards a&m/lsu so Mack pulled his offer. Mack doesn't want his fanboys thinking he got beat out for a kid he really wanted.
Then you have the Geoff ketchums starting rumors about street agents and the bomc just laps it up.
it's not street agents, it's his aau coach, and that was the reason for the decommit in the first place.
i love the cut-and-run theory though, as if texas has never lost out on a recruit it pursued to the end.
