Somebody has decided to "cowardly" downvote this and other posts of mine in this thread simply because I said Browne can't move up based on today's performance from his current ranking of 5th.
Here is the quote from Rivals: "None of the four quarterbacks at the event blew the doors off, but Hackenberg was a major reason why the Northeast squad claimed the championship. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound signal-caller was up-and-down but the strong parts of his performance were very impressive. He has plenty of arm strength to throw it down the field. His best throws on the day were when he laid it over the defense and put it over the shoulder of a receiver in stride." Hack was rated the best QB. It doesn't matter too much...it's just 7v7.
But with Browne at #5 and Hackenberg at around #150 at Rivals, clearly Hack (despite the INTs) has upside in Rivals rankings and Browne does not. If you dissagree, state you case, but don't be a coward...if you downvote this without stating your case then you're just disrespecting your school.

Maybe but dual threat guys don't do well in 7v7.
You and me both. Tired of hearing about the camp superstars that disappear in actual games.
If the TE recovers from his injury you mean.
I don't sub to TOS but I heard the reason the NE won was because the SE was without a few key players... please correct me if I'm wrong and offer some insight
Luckily ACL tears (no MCL or PCL with it) are pretty easy to recover from these days in a matter of months.
swoopes sucks so bad his wr earned mvp honors. kid is a freak athlete playing minor league ball in hs. he's had next to no true qb training to this point. he's got his senior year and at least 2, if not 3, years on the bench at texas before he has a chance to see the field.
Just stating a fact....Bigelow IS committed to USC. Could care less about Aubarn.
I wouldn't say could care less, he does have one 2 friends (one already in AU, the other committed). And at one time AU led and he hasn't shut down his recruitment. Will he switch? I seriously doubt it, but you have no idea what you are talkin bout.
and Bo's point still stands... It has nothing to do with Alabama but you can't help but stick your fat trunk in it

All the regions were missing top players...so its probably about equal.
Cannot believe i, a wolverine fan, am going to be sticking up for Buckeye nation, but if Hack threw 4 INT's in a quarter (or whatever it was), how do you figure he is going to pick apart/dominate the Buckeye defense? Have you seen the DB's they have pulled in? They are arguably better DB's than Hack is a QB.
Its not like the Buckeye defense is fodder, they have an elite defense year-in and year-out. Are you also one of those guys who thought Morelli was going to be the next Dan Marino, only better?
You're focusing on one of 5 games. The other four games he did great. Not sure why people ignore four games and focus on just the one.
Not to take either side, really, but you are touting the results of this one camp as opposed to his HS career and all his other camp performances. In reality, this one camp is just that - one camp. That applies to all the players who were there. People shouldn't try to derive too much (good or bad) about any of these prospects from one game or one camp.

Yea it makes no sense. He also came back against that same team that he threw the four picks against and threw 4 TD's. No one can have a great game every single time. He was great way more than he was bad this past weekend.
I'm not touting anything. I think it's great that he performed well, but you're right - it's just a camp. I don't support the notion that Hack will necessarily tear OSU apart. Pretty sure Zizzle was just having fun.
Just seen some people say "he had a bunch of interceptions in one game, so he didn't do well." I'm just saying that that's not necessarily true. Within the context of the camp, he did well and most everyone has agreed on that (except two UM fans). I don't for one second think that the results of this camp necessarily extend to the actual college careers.
I most definitely was just having fun with the Buckeye comment.
Then he should be listed as an athlete on here but alas he is not.
i don't entirely disagree. he's a better athlete than he is a qb.
that said, he's got plenty of time to improve his qb skills before he ever steps on a cfb field. then again, w/ brewer ahead of him and heard behind him, it wouldn't surprise me if he never saw the field as a starting qb.
Because he shows out playing football in shorts? The guy has been showing out at camps, but he hasn't exactly had mind-blowing stats even in HS....not sure how you think he will be the most "productive" college player in this class....
Trey Johnson is a baller in games but apparently production doesn't matter
I don't do the rankings, but you haven't heard that from me. I expect big things from Johnson.....just not sold on the hype surrounding Lawson right now. Why has UGA not pursued Lawson heavily? I would be PISSED if i was a dawg fan and they lose out on RN, Rueben, Adams, and Lawson (if they do in fact lose them all).
Wait and see.

Lawson and UGA would have never happened.
Wasn't Lawson's dad a player for GT on their '90 title team? I have a feeling he grew up hating Georgia and would have never signed there, and they knew it.
