lolz, can't link article but here are some solid quotes from it
The 2001 BCS national champion 'Canes produced 17 first-round picks and 38 NFL draftees overall.
Look at Miami now, however, and you'll see a team that is barely holding off Duke -- yes, Duke -- for ninth in the ACC in recruiting.
The fall from grace has been steady and stunning.
Miami's 2013 class has only 12 commitments and was mentioned as one of the most disappointing in the country, with National Signing Day days away.
There are no five-star players in the class and only one player in the Rivals100 -- Al-Quadin Muhammad, who hails from Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep and not talent-rich south Florida.
Thursday night, reports surfaced that Golden had given an ultimatum to Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington offensive lineman Denver Kirkland to commit or lose his scholarship.
Kirkland did not give a pledge, and Golden kept his word.
The result was a firestorm centered around Golden, Booker T. Washington head coach Tim "Ice" Harris and legendary rapper and longtime Miami supporter Luther Campbell.
Harris said that this would leave a long-lasting scar on the relationship between himself and Golden.
Campbell tweeted that the move would be recruiting suicide for Golden by burning relationships with Booker T. Washington, Miami (Fla.) Northwestern -- where Campbell coaches -- and the ripple effect of the coaching community within Miami.
Imo it was a pretty terrible article, but I did lolz at some of it just because I had too and shit
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Miami is one program that will never be "back"
Kind of wish FSU could get away from playing them every year...
Golden feeling the pressure huh..
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
I understand where Al is coming from, but the guys at Booker T should be jumping on board and not wasting Miami's time. Luther ain't helping at all.
Happy days are here again!!!!
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
why should they??
if every other university can respect them enough to wait, why can't miami??
Not shocked at all it was written by Dallas Jackson who hates everything Miami.
People quoting Uncle Luke make sick, he will hate every coach at Miami until a black coach is hired.
Do you seriously think no other universities pull scollys?
Lol at saying Miami will never be back. T-minus two years till Golden is gone and they admit he sucked the whole time but some time in the future they will get a very very good up and coming coach on the cheap when they arent under sanctions and they will sign two straight classes of South Florida ballers and curb stomp some team in the title game. Then it will come out that they paid three of them and it will be back on sanctions.
Their geographic/demographic advantage can barely be summarized.

it happens, but not 5 days before NSD
Who are you closing with bro? Is the last second hail mary for Rashard Robinson going to make it happen?
they get alex collins + 5 scrubs
Miami fans this is why you can't compete.
Then there is also this factor

miami also got a downgrade at OC
once again, congrats
Um......I guess they might be wrong but everyone I read has AC to Arky.
saw somewhere that arkansas just landed another RB
figured that meant collins to Miami
So coach and player mad that he can't play around and do the recruiting game? Tough break.
Sad how pussy and lame the recruiting game is now a days. Kid wants to play around and cries when he gets hit with a reality check?
There you go listening to " everyone " again
Almost as bad as using Heather Dinich as reference that Coley was a homerun hire
thats one idiotic way of looking at the situation
I also believe Miami will never be back. Recruiting is so much more national now than it was during their greatest runs. Just because the kid is from Miami doesn't mean he's going there like it did in the old days. Miami is a small private school. That formula doesn't work. Name me one small private school that is great at football these days. USC is the closest example you could come up with, but they're larger than Miami and don't face nearly the recruiting competition that Miami does. The worst USC has to deal with is Oregon and ucla. Miami has to deal with Fsu, florida, Alabama, Georgia, etc.
No way Miami ever wins another NC. Mark it down.
So basically you have no clue and you're just assuming/hoping it still goes well? Nice.
Bostwick is a Gator. You've been chasing Grace's otherwise unwanted self for a year now, Coley is a pipedream to a fan base that is desperately trying to self-convince that they'll own South Florida going forward, etc.
Bryant, as in Keith?
Do you seriously believe this?? I mentioned it in my post toward the end of the first page, but Miami will never win another NC.
